messing about

Thought I'd try something different for todays posting, have made a tag using metal, Terra and precious metal paint, glimmer mist .....life would never be the same without glimmer mist, how did I manage before!!! as well as adding crysal beads, charm and lace. Guess this project should be called... how much can you get on a tag.I love making the grunge roses and I used a Stitchels stamp which are sold by the Artistic Stamper, I followed the tutorial in the craft stamper magazine (a few months back) by Hels Sheridan, I also made these roses last Saturday using a different stamp when I went to the Chip n bling class at LB Crafts in Olney. they look great and add real dimension to a project...so I guess I'll be making some more.

Challenges for this tag are:
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge......Mothers day project with flowers, I stamped into the ferra before painting and misting it with my Mother text stamp to add background dimension.
Susie Sassy Designs....colour combo of lilac and aqua.
Creative beli Challenge......use eyelets.
Gingersnap Creations......Celebrate....my celebration is for mothers day.
daring Cardmakers.....Aquamarine

The lace was glimmer misted and distressed to match the tag

You can see the words from the stamp more clearer on this pic

Close up of the flower which was distressed in purple concord and the leaves in shabby shutters, crystal beads were dotted around in the background and a dragonfly charm was atttached using a brad.

Thanks for taking a peek and leaving a comment
