Sugar Creek Hollow.......

Afternoon peeps I'm having a long weekend, after the Easter rush of last weekend, I thought I'd have a couple of me days to chill and craft, although knowing me I will end up being side tracked, today I am at a workshop with Clare Chevrill making another fabbie Graphic 45 project, although I don't now what we are making until I get there so its a surprise........

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is flourishes, you can use pearls/stamps etc as long as you include some flourishes on your vintage/shabby chic project. This is a card that I made for someone to celebrate an anniversary of their first kiss.........awwwww. I have used Pion papers and image to create this monchromatic card available at Live and Love Crafts. I frantaged the edges of the papers after I had stamped the background with the words Amour and Memory dictionary definitions. The seam binding I coloured using Weathered wood distress ink and the flower embellishment on the tag is made from melted embossing powder from Wow, just adds a smidge of colour.

  19. Hi Daniele, Wendy (Kraftyhands DT) here! I've just been looking through your blog for a card I had seen somewhere on one of the Kraftyhands DT pages. I had commented on this particular card and said how good the Cd looked. Sadly, I couldn't remember whose blog it was on and I have lost the paper that I wrote the name of the Cd on. Looking thru your blog, I think it was the Floral Fantasia one. Anyway, what I wanted to say is - your work is really beautiful. I have enjoyed reading and looking at your work. Wendy xx
