Another Venice Tag

You'll all be fed up with my Venice tags but I'm a woman on a mission as I've been meaning to make my Venice album for ages so this is another tag for the album so please bear with me, I didn't think I'd get anything done today as its Tuesday and I have my grandson all day but he let me have a little play.....quite funny really as I was making the frame for the image whilst he was sat on my knee drawing with a pencil....well I like to think of it as the first signs of an artistic streak but most people would says its scribble.

Todays tag conists of a few techniques including working with Viva paints and Terra to make the little frame around the image, the image is from crafty Individuals(people and places 2 which is free at the moment when you spend £25....easy for me to do lol) and the background paper is also from crafty Individuals (Travels in Italy) they are perfect for my Venice project and they are gorgeous to work with. I embossed around the edge of the tag to form a frame.

the frame around the image is made from Terra and I used Sahara, then painted it with black acrylic drying each layer.......just love those bubbles when you heat the paste up, I then brushed turquoise and blackberry precious metals on top.....yum yum so lovely.

 The printed text on the right side is tissue paper that a shop (All Saints) used to wrap a T Shirt in and the tissue looks distressed so I begged it off my daughter after she had given the contents to her boyfriend, I attached it to the tag with a glue medium from Claudine Helmuth which I then painted with over the top as well to give it a transparency look, the stamped image at the top of the tag and the lace at the bottom are from the Lleweln Bowen Venaissance collection, the rest of the embellishments are from Papermania

Challenges are:

C.R.A.F.T.......use the colours turquiose and purple.

Gingersnap creations.....try something new adhered the tissue paper to get a semi transparent look.
