Ooh La La Creations....

Ooops sorry this is a day late but I had to work late last night, we've had new fixtures in and its taking ages to move everything, hopefully by Thursday it will be finished and the shop will look like its ready for Christmas.......Christmas seems to get earlier every year, we'll be starting in July next.....lol.
The challenge at Ooh La La Creations this fortnight is Christmas (very apt...lol). So its a nice easy challenge to join in with.
For my card I have used one of the new images from The Yuletide Wishes CD to make this twisted easel card. I have printed out the main image and instead of leaving it flat I layered up the snowman or should that we snowlady part. Just loving the tree papers which I added glitter to for lots of sparkle.

Evening peeps hope you all have had  fabbie weekend, I have managed to do some de-cluttering ......gosh the amount of stuff that you hoard over the years, you wait next week I'll be looking for something that has been thrown away or has gone to the charity shop. I've got a month to get up the old carpets, paint the skirting boards and redecorate the hall before they are coming to fit the new ones, I always seem to have a major job done before Christmas, instead of spring cleaning I think I winter clean.....lol.
Thought I'd share with you a Halloween album that I have started featuring Ethan, last year was the first time he had dressed up and I know hes got his costume sorted out for this week. I brought the skeleton from the 99p shop  you get 6 in the bag and this one I have coloured with alcohol ink added gems for the eyes and glitter, then dressed him with a bow.

Sugar Creek Hollow......

Afternoon peeps, hope you are keeping warm, gosh its gone a bit nippy here, winter is definitely on its way, the clocks go back this weekend as well......so hate the dark nights and mornings.
Todays challeneg at Sugar Creek Hollow is called .....Vintage texting, we would like to see you use a sentiment or some text on your vintage design.
For my card I have used a B Line stamp, the papers are from the new Prima paper pad, I have coloured the image with Prismas. I've kept the colour scheme simple just picking out the colours of the background paper.

Morning peeps hope you all had a fabbie weekend, I'm off for a few days.....yay, so I can now catch up with my DT cards ready for Christmas, being really organised. However I did forget to write this post so I'm not that organised.....lol. Had a lovely day yesterday spending hubbys money on the house, you when you get to that stage and everything wants replacing, well thats us, need new carpets and soft furnishings so we are off out again today to see what I can find to buy.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash and this fortnight we have a lovey sketch by Kevin.

For my card I used a sweet Teddy Bea image just loving this sweet little Ballerina, the image was coloured with Prismas and the papers are from First Edition. I coloured the metal corner wih alcohol inks.

Sugar Creek Hollow.....

Afternoon peeps welcome to another challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, we had lots of fabbie entries last week, I guess like me you love a bit of sparkle, well this week the theme is .....Sew Fashionable. So this week we would love to see your vintage or shabby chic creations with some sewing on and something featuring fashion.

I have used a stamp from B Line, which I coloured the  in with Prismas, I also got to play with some seam binding so I used mine to stitch down around the edge of my card to create a frame and to tie a bow on my scissors charm. Sorry for a short post but I'm sniffing with a flippin' cold at the moment....sniff sniff.

Spooky card.

Afternoon peeps what a glorious autumunal day we are having, trouble is the windows all look dirty in this weather so I'm trying to type this without looking at them as I will feel guilty and have to clean them. Thought I'd share with you a card that I made using the new stamp set from Crafty Individulas featuring poison bottles CI360 these are so perfect for this time of the year, and they were begging to be made into a Halloween card. I have used another template for the card base from The House of Zandra, this time there are three recessed windows with just enough room to set bottles behind. The main frame I distressed with Purple Concord, Peeled paint and Spiced Marmalade, I then embossed with clear after stamping the crackle stamp from CI to create a spooky frame. The bottles I coloured with Prismas and then rubbed rock candy over the top to create the glass illusion. I just had to add a couple of spiders and some web to complete......hope you likey.

Ooh La La.......

Bonjour peeps, ..........its Monday and the start of another week and the start of another challenge at Ooh La La Creations, last night on C&C the new Christmas Cd was launched, the art work is by Shelly Rasche and the CD is called Yueltide Wishes, this is packed with delightful images again and my card is from that CD. The theme for this fortnights challenge is Christmas Sentiment, so with Christmas in all the shops now its a perfect chance to get some of your cards made.I'm starting abit earlier this year as I left it far too late last year. There are lots of faux layers for the background of this image and then the centre wreath and birds are layered up which really adds to the dimension just popped on some ribbon and a bow inspired by Molly Blooms designer Clare.....

Have a fabby week, its raining here at the moment after the lovely day we had yesterday

Mid way Reminder.......

Afternoon peeps, ooops forgot to post my mid way reminder card for The Ready Teddy Go challenge so here it is better late than never, I've just got back from the show at Kettering and spent far to much as usual, found some fabbie Halloween papers so I intend to make a mini album featuring Ethan, I've still got some pics from last year and I'm sure he'll be doing some more trick or treating this year.Met up with my blogging friend Netty at the show which so lovely to catch up again she made me a gorgeous tag which I will photo later and share.....so sweet.
For my card I used a stamp from Kanban, just loving these cute get well soon sweeties, I've coloured the image in with Prismas and the papers are from Papermania.

Today sees the start of another fabbie challenge, this week we want to see your Shabby Chic or Vintage cards with some sparkle, that means you can get your glitter and gems out. For my card I've used an Pion image and used hearts which I Frantaged. Paper,  pearl string and image are available from Live and Love Crafts.

London Scene....

Morning peeps I thought I'd share with you a card I made using one of the new Crafty Individual stamps, this one is landmarks of London, I embossed with Aurora embossing powders for a lovely shimmery effect, that is hard to photograph, The template I used for the card is from  House of Zandra, they do some lovely templates so I'm working my way through them, perfect for collage cards. The front of the card is distress inked and then I stamped snowflakes and the verse in blue, I put acetate across the aperture and then stamped on the santa and sleigh in Stazon, I added little dots on the acetate for the falling snow effect and added white lines around the buildings. The tree I did with Frantage micas , shavings and glitter.......so loving the texture and effect of this. Talking of Crafty Individuals if you spend £15 you get a limited edition star stamp which is gorgeous.

Sketch n Stash....

Morning peeps hope you all had a fabbie weekend, such lovely warm weather so I managed to get the gloss painting done in my Sons room, its been a long time doing abit here and there each week  so thankfully its nearly finished.
You know winters on its way when Strictly reapears on our TVs,I'm looking forward to the coming weeks of sequins and dance, so loving Darcy as the new judge, someone who knows what shes on about.
Anyway today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash and we have a fabbie sketch by our teamie Angie......nice one hun.

christmas sack....

Morning peeps yesterday it was Ethans 4th birthday so we popped round for jelly and cheesy wotsits for his party tea, yummy and I managed to finish off the wallpapering in my sons room so I only have the painting of two walls......yay.
Its my turn to to post something over at Studio 12 blog so I thought I'd show you the little mini pressie sack I made, I enlarged the sweet gingerbread image from the Picknix Gingerbread twist CD, using gimp and then printed it onto transfer paper which I then ironed onto calico, stitched on some buttons and added a bow to complete......just needs some pressies putting inside it now.
