Dt postion.......

Hiya peeps I'm thrilled to bits to be able to share some more good news with you.......I've be invited to join The Polka Doodles design team. I love the whimsy designs of their stamps and digi products although my poor son will be tearing his hair out with me with more printing to do, however I'm slowly getting there with the techno stuff........lol. I'm hoping with all these designs for the challenges I'll have to make I'll stop munching at night and be able to loose some weight.....if only.......I'd have to keep my sugar levels up so I'd better get a stash of nibbles for my craft room......lol.
Hope you are all having a fabbie weekend, Id better go and get some housework done and gardening as we need to get the lawn down soon, we're having artifical grass, we've found a manufacturer that makes some that is so life like its hard to tell the difference, my sister did hers last year and now gets to enjoy her garden instead of mowing and weeding and at least Ethan can play outside more now being as we've made the garden more Grandson friendly........

Sneak Peek......

Evening peeps hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine since its returned, another load of washing done.......I didn't realise that you could get that many clothes in a suitcase and wear them in two weeks, next year I'm going to a naturalist holiday to cut down on the workload when I get back.......lol, either that or go around smelly for a few days. When we went to the soft play area with Ethan on Tuesday he finally plucked up the courage to go down the big slides there, then there was no stopping him......squealing and laughing until he exhausted himself as well as us........fun and games.
I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at a new range of digi stamps coming out at Cuddly Buddly over the next few weeks they are by an artist called Karen  Middleton, her colouring is gorgeous and she specialises in Whimsy and Enchanted designs......this design is called Tumble fairy and I have to admit to a slight faux paux in the colouring but I'll let you find it, you'll have to wait for another version next week with the correction but I hadn't the heart to put it in the bin.The image has been coloured with Prismas and blended with Sansador, the papers are from First Edition called Daydream I love the soft purples and apricots with lime greens of the papers. The metal corners are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Chritmas in July.......

Morning peeps, I've done the first round of post holiday washing and ironing then spent the afternoon having a nana nap or a siesta yesterday. I'm off to work now, hopefully there aren't any major problems to sort whilst I've been away, counting down to my next week off at the end of August.......how bad is that. Being as there are a couple of challenges for Chrstmas in July it seemed apt to show you this card I made for Cuddly Buddly before going on holiday......a sweetie called "Its Santa", I made it as a swing tag on top of a pressie....well a fake pressie card, coloured with prisma pencils. the paper is from Cuddly Buddly as well and it wouldn't be Christmas without lots of glitter. I used glossy accents to make his boots shiny and dimensional.

I'm back......

Morning peeps, I'm back off my holls.....urghhhh, I shall miss my early morning cuppa over looking  Lake Garda whilst colouring all the images I took with me, and not forgetting all the lovely sunshine we had, although this morning is looking lovely. We spent Friday in Disneyland and we waited till the end for the fireworks so we were all rather pooped yesterday when we got back, oh well back to reality and all the washing, ironing, work etc. to do, although I get to see my daughter and grandson Ethan today who I missed whilst on my holls......no running around after him. At least I can catch up on my Dt cards now, talking of which heres my card for Sketch N Stash......there is still one week to join in, the sketch is by Jackie. The old stash I've used are the flowers and the new stash are the papers well they're fairly new so I'm hoping that counts.....lol. oh no the pencils are my newest stash......I'm so lovin' my prisma pencils, so much so I took them on holiday with me.The image is Teddy Bea......such a sweetie.

Just sipping again.......

Afternoon peeps, I'm sat at my favourite spot again sipping a cappucino over looking Lake Garda, the weather is fabbie, getting up to 40 degrees some days and still 34 at night, thank god for air conditioning. we went to Movie Land the other day which was a great day out....not too busy so we got round all the rides, my son dragged me into a Horror House....thought it would just be a bit spooky nothing too major......I've never screamed so much in all my life, wild horses wouldn't drag me in again. It was pitch black and you have to put your hand on the shoulder infront who has to follow the little red light....ok a few spooky noises so far so good then we enter a room with what looks like a woman dummy lying in bed who then proceeds to get up and chase you round the room, next you have to walk through a load of strung up bodies on meat hooks revolving round whilst a zombie blocks your way......more screams. I have never been so relieved to see daylight, the rest of the rides were brill. though. I'm missing my card making although I've done loads of colouring ready for when I get back.....lol.I think I've put on several pounds in weight as I've had to try all the different varieties of ice ctream....well it would be rude of me not to.
Hugs from sunny Italy....ciao ciao

Sipping.......

Evening peeps, I'm on my holls sipping a machiato overlooking Lake Garda whilst typing this.....doesn't get any better, the weather is hot hot hot and my son has been sunbathing which is a first as he shivers in 30 degrees.....lol. We had a fun start to the holls as hubby overslept and we caught the ferry by the skin of our teeth, spent the afternoon in Disneyland Paris before hitting the sack after a tiring day. we then travelled down to Lake Lucerne in Switzerland arriving in the afternoon, our hotel was on the shore of the lake.....great view with the snow capped peeks, however its expensive......really expensive nearly £30 for a Macdonalds, I did want a fondu but at £35 per person we thougt it was expensive for bread dipped in melted cheese.....lol. All we've done since we arrived at Lake Garda is sleep, eat, swim, sleep eat....I'm so tired guess its called unwinding. we had the mother of all thunderstorms last night, thought the caravan was going to take off but today the sky has been clear and the sun is now setting over the lake.....what shall I do tomorrow?.....probably more of the same as today......lol
Hugs for now

Sketch n Stash.....

Morning peeps hope you all had a great weekend, and a Happy 4th of July to you all over the pond.....lots of celebrations today.Hope you all had a lovely weekend, gosh they go so quick and apart from colouring my hair.....which is a pain, I keep threatening to go au natural.......grey, or in my case silver on the top, which is my halo......lol and salt and pepper everywhere elso, could be a new trend, I could steak it with alcohol inks as they're permanent and have a rainbow effect.....ok I'm just being silly now, its just that I'd love to be outrageous and have coloured hair, I think  its an age thing......lol, any way apart from that I had a lazy Sunday now I'm starting to panic as we're off on our holls at the end of the week and I'm sure I've got lots of jobs to do before I go........just can't think of any at the moment.......see the memory is going as well.....arghhh.
Anyway I can't believe its time for another Sketch n Stash challenge and this week we get to follow a fabbie sketch by Faye or Fluffy as she also know.....
