Morning peeps hope you are well, I think I'm going down with another cold, can't believe it, I'm going for a record....lol.
Thought I'd show you a quick card I made using the Picknix colletion 1 CD from Polkadoodles, just loving these shabby chic papers.
I layered up the images and then printed out the manequin, spools of thread and tape measure so that I could get some depth by layering the up. The sentiment is a stamp also from Polkadoodles, I have added glossy acents to that as well as the button.

Teddy Toppers

Morning peeps, I managed to stay awake for the meeting yesterady but the weather was dreadful driving back, you couldn't see anything with all the rain, I was navigating and ussually I'm like a homing pidgeon but yesterday we too a few minor detours......hopefully I won't be asked again and then I can have a snooze in the back....lol

Thought I'd share with you a card that I made using the new toppers available at Krafty Hands, you get two sheet for just £1.80 and the quality of the pictures are wonderful, my faves are the teddies and the lovely vintage floral ones, pop over here to see them for yourselves.

This card is using the Cuddly Bear toppers.

Sketch n Stash......

Morning peeps hope you are well, I'm off to an area meeting today and after only get three hours sleep on Saturday night and not having a Nana nap on Sunday I will probabaly be nodding off at the meeting,
the reason for very little sleep is.....I had both my Grandsons for a sleepover on Saturday night, feels strange still saying Grandsons, Zachary only goes four hours inbetween feeds so after a midnight one and then a 4.00am one I didn't get very much zzzzzzz's. It was lovely cuddling both of them and Zachary is looking around and smiling at people now......awwww so darn sweet, and when Ethan cuddled up as well and told me "I really love you Nana" I could have cried.

For my card I have used the new musical stamps CI 366 from Crafty Individuals for the main part as well as the music sheet stamp CI 194 to create the background paper behind the main images. I have also used a page from the Shades of Summer paper pad. The distress inks used are Peacock Feathers, Broken China, Vintage Photo and Dusty Concord and then used Stormy Sky to stamp the sheep music. The scroll dies are from Marianne Dies. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.

Sugar Creek Hollow.....

Afternoon peeps hope you have all managed to keep warm in the freezing cold weather this week, I have spent the week working on a Graphic 45 Christmas album, its been totally addictive, early morning starts to do a page before going to work which is why there has been a lack of postings this week.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is lots of layers, I have used my Kraftyhands CD .....Fleur Francais for the papers and layered image, the torn music paper has been embossed in gold, I then tucked a piece of lace under the torn edge.

OOh La la....

Bonjour peeps , wow what a load of snow we have had, looks like a picture postcard this morning and I think there is more on the way, we went to a local model train show yesterday and took Ethan with us who insisted on having Jingle Bells on the Cd in the car.....its is favourite, so we were all sininging along to Christmas songs even if it is January.....great fun.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, the theme is .....WHEELY GOOD, so for this challenge we want to see your projects with wheels on. For my card I have used an image and papers from The Boys To Men Cd, probabaly appropriate with all this snow. I have cut the curl paper and slid another ribbon paper in the bottom right hand corner and then cut the the top part of the curl to slide the main image under.

Day off today so I'm going to have a crafting day, since I've neglected

my craft room and it needs a good tidy up.

Sugar Creek Hollow......

Afternoon peeps hope you are all keeping warm, now we have a blanket of the white stuff covering most of the country, so glad my class was last week and not this week,infact my project for this weeks challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow is part of what I made and fits the theme of Tic Tac Toe.

I have gone for the bottom line.....Flowers (Paper), pearls and die cut. This panel is one of three which forms a mini album for tucking in photos or mementos, the papers are from A Ladies Diary from Graphic 45, the diecut has been painted white and then I used a Kylon gold pen to highlight.

Morning peeps and welcome to the first challenge of the year at Sketch N Stash, thought we would do do things a bit differently, so we are having a retro year and going back to the very first sketch that launched sketch n Stash as a challenge blog.

For my card I have used papers and images from a Cd by Krafty hands called Fleurs Francaise, just love the papers and floral toppers on this Cd. In fact I had it for my birthday last year and never got round to using it much. I changed the band on the sketch and moved it over.The floral topper I triple embossed, popped it in the freezer and then used Tea Dye ink to distress the cracks, added platinum stickles to the edge.

Had a fabbie weekend doing an album, canvas and tag album featuring Graphic 45 papers, just need to do some homework and fininsh them off before I take piccies.

Afternoon peeps, phew I managed to get this card done by the skin of my teeth, still not feeling 100% but at least I have managed to get a smidge of crafting done, I'm at a two day class this weekend which I must admit at the begining of the week I did't think I would make it, just hope we don't get snowed off now.....lol. Might take my tooth brush just incase I have to stay over.

Ooh La La.....

Not been feeling very Ooh La La for the past few days, thank goodness for scheduled posts cos I've been knocked off my feet for the past four days, not sure if it was flu but when I can't drink a cup of tea for four days it has to be serious because I lurvvvve my tea, been left with a chest infection now and still feeling pretty sorry for myself, why is it you work like crazy before Christmas, look forward to spending a couple of days off and then get ill....always the same.

Todays card is for the new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, the theme is birthdays.....I nice easy one to kick start the new year. The image and poapers I have used is off the latest Cd called  Yesterdays Memories.

Cherry Blossom Lane.....

Morning peeps, hope you are all well, things haven't got off to a brill start here, feel like I've been run over by a steam roller, mind you I should look abit thinner shouldn't I, we have found that my Mum has a little furry critter under her floor boards, it keeps chewing through the elbow joint on her heating pipes, we have had to had the plumber out twice now as her heating keeps going off.......so we spent the morning peering down a hole trying to find the little furry mouse, the pest control lady came out to bait it so we did put a strawberry cream down for it as well....just incase the bait doesn't taste nice.

Here is the second card I made for Polka Doodles featuring the sweet images on the Cherry Blossom Lane CD, this one is coloured in with Prismas.

Happy New Year....

Morning peeps .....HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, hope you all not too hung over, have to say I never stay up for New Year celebrations, my hubby always works New Years Eve night so we never get to party......awwwww.....
mind you I am ussually in bed by 10.00 so I struggle staying up any later. Its since I became a Nana.....lol
