Afternoon peeps, what a mixed bag of weather we are having this week, Tuesday was lovely and warm and yesterday we had hail. I'm off tomorrow and I'm hoping for a chill out day after the past few weeks of wedding shopping, although I have still got to get some shoes, other than that I think everything is pretty much in place.

The theme this week at Sugar Creek Hollow is.....Numbers and words, I made a mini album using papers and toppers from the Kraftyhands Cd called Man about Town, I had fun making the charms, using embossing to create the keys.

the album consists of three Graphic 45 tags which I painted in bronze
before coving with the papers from Man about Town.

Sketch n Stash.....

Evening peeps this is one very late post, it should have been done this morning but I wasn't happy with my card and have left it until now to finish and I'm still not sure about it. I have spent the day fininshing off my Graphic 45 album, and finally coloured my hair, I was begining to resemble a badger, I so hate colouring it and its not as if I do it, my son is a dab hand at colouring hair so he does it for me.....

Welcome to Sketch n Stash
The optional theme this fortnight is embossing.
We also have two sponsers this week

My Mums Craft shop with a prize of £10

and Dis Digi stamps with a prize of $10

For my card I have used this sweet fairy image from Lili of the Valley which is coloured in with Prismas, the papers are from First Edition, Dreamcatcher, and I have added embossed die cut corners using a Marianne Die. I have heat embossed the flowers using Cosmic Shimmer Aurora embossing powder for lots of shimmer.

Sugar Creek Hollow.......

Afternoon peeps I'm having a long weekend, after the Easter rush of last weekend, I thought I'd have a couple of me days to chill and craft, although knowing me I will end up being side tracked, today I am at a workshop with Clare Chevrill making another fabbie Graphic 45 project, although I don't now what we are making until I get there so its a surprise........

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is flourishes, you can use pearls/stamps etc as long as you include some flourishes on your vintage/shabby chic project. This is a card that I made for someone to celebrate an anniversary of their first kiss.........awwwww. I have used Pion papers and image to create this monchromatic card available at Live and Love Crafts. I frantaged the edges of the papers after I had stamped the background with the words Amour and Memory dictionary definitions. The seam binding I coloured using Weathered wood distress ink and the flower embellishment on the tag is made from melted embossing powder from Wow, just adds a smidge of colour.
