Spring Hares......

Morning to all my fellow crafty bloggers, apologies for my lack of posts these past weeks, my blog has been neglected whilst I work on an album which I have just finished.......it was a marathon project but I so love making them. It's getting busy at work as well with icing all Easter Eggs and my poor wrists are aching already and we still have two Saturdays to go.
Thought I would share with you another card featuring the two hares recently released from Crafty Individuals,by Alice Palace, lots of sparkle on this one. The back ground papers are from the Spring paper book also available from CI, I stamped the background with the baroque stamp, and added sparkle with Imaginations shimmer paste through a stencil.

Happy Mothers day.....

Phew we were mega busy again at work yesterday, I get today off and then it's back to work on Monday to get all the Easter Eggs out. Wishing you a Happy Mothers Day to all you Mums out there, hope you have a lovely pampered day.

I have used an older stamp featuring these cute kitties CI 222 Five Fluffy Kittens, the image was coloured with Polychromos, I also used CI 206 Flower Heads for the flowers across the front of the card. The heart image is CI 342 Delicately Detailed Hearts which I embossed in silver and then coloured in with Twinkling H20s. The background I created with Fresco paints and I used a mini brayer to apply the various colours, after that I randomly stamped a script stamp, then I used a stencil with Crafty Imagination sparkle paste.

Sparkly bunnies.....

Crafty Individuals released another five new stamps last week and I have been having a little play with these darn cute bunnies, well technically they aren't bunnies because they are Hares CI 434 Winning Hare designed by Alice Palace. I coloured in the image with Polychromos pencils and stamped the background paper with another new stamp CI 430 Baroque splatter script,  this is perfect for any type of background as it's a large stamp and I think I shall be using this one a lot as I love it. The background paper is from The Springtime background book 3 and I embossed the design with Pewter wow embossing powder, as well as the flowers which are from the CI 206 Flower Heads stamp. I then used a Wink sparkle pen to paint over the image for an extra smidge of sparkle.

One for the Mums.......

Morning to all my fellow craft bloggers, hope you are having a good week, I've spent most of it complaining to the store about my unfinished bathroom, I think that this will have to be my last home improvement project as the stress is too much.
It's time for a new challenge at Kraftyhands, and the theme this month is One for the Mums. I have used a rose stamp and the papers are from an Emporium of Curiosities Cd both available from Kraftyhands. The stamp is only £2.50, a real bargain. The image I coloured in with Polychromos pencils, I then added white and gold frantage to the edges of the image. The Frame on the stamp set I embossed in gold before adding a Mothers Day sentiment.

Crafty Individuals......

Evening fellow crafty bloggers, feeling guilty with lack of posts this past week, we are having our bathroom refitted and to say it has been without problems would be lying. The tiles arrived and were a completely different colour to what we ordered, they are natural stone and we were expecting cream but they look rather brown now. The radiator we ordered came and was the wrong size, and then the wall on my stairs started to break and the plaster has cracked, so I'm a smidge stressed to say the least.

There is a new challenge that has started over at Crafty Individuals and the theme this month is ......The animal world. I have used one of their older stamps CI 289 Fresh Eggs and Chickens, the main image was coloured in with pencils but the background I made using PaperArtsy Fresco paints which I rolled onto smoothy card with a mini roller and then I randomly stamped the new tree stamps CI  429 Trees Galore onto the background.
