Hello Lovely.....

Morning all, thank you for your inspirational comments so very much appreciated. Today I am sharing with you a card that I made for my assistant Managers birthday yesterday, it was soooo appropriate as she say addresses most people as...."hello lovely", as soon a s I saw this stamp I knew that I had to save it for her birthday card. The background is created with Pan pastels which I then spritzed with gold glimmer mist before sealing with spray and shine. The stamp is an Alice Palace one available at Crafty Individuals.

I added colour to the cup cakes using Prisma pencils, as well

as Star Dust stickles for added bling.

Ooh la La......

Bonjour again peeps two posts in one day after very little from me over the past few weeks, this card is for the new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, the theme this fortnight is green and orange, I have used papers and an image from the last Cd......Yesterdays Memories, lots of vintage style images on this cd for you to choose from. I layered up the main image with the oval image and then added pearls to the corners.

Ready Teddy Go......

Morning peeps have you eaten all your eggs yet......hmmmmm yummy...... We had an Easter egg hunt for Ethan and he managed to find them all, he was good and only ate one , mind you he did help himself to some of his Grandsds. Not happy about losing an hour yesterday, especially since I had forgotten until my hubby changed all the clocks and suddenly it was dinner time, one hour less to eat chocolate eggs is not good.

Happy Easter....

Morning peeps .....ok how many of you are tucking into easter eggs at this moment????, after icing as many as we have this week I'm having an egg free morning, yesterday was manic, it was like being in a rugby scrum with people trying to get eggs, we were run off our feet, thank goodness things will get back to a more sedate pace next week.....I hope!

Todays post is an easter card that I made using the tulip image and papers on the Floral Fantasia Cd from Kraftyhands (on offer at the moment for £7.50). The heart is an embellishment that they sell but they are pink so I coloured mine gold.....works a treat so I will be stocking up on more of those especially as I notice that they have also brought out a floral round one.....lovely.

I added glossy accents to the words and sprinkled glitter on them as well 

for a touch of sparkle.

Sugar Creek Hollow....

Afternoon peeps hope you are having a good start to the Easter weekend at least I have a couple of days off work after today, so I can catch up on some crafting and blogging. Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is fairy tales or nursery rhymnes, but remember we want to see your vinatge or shabby chic styles. After I had coloured the image with Prismas I cut another image out and used it as a mask to stamp the background with a text stamp from Crafty Individuals, I wanted it to look like a page from a book. Digital Layout.....

Morning peeps, so sorry for not getting around any blogs this week but its becoming abit of a blur, I have iced so many eggs that my poor hand aches. Hopefully comes the weekend I can put my feet up and have time to catch up with you all. Todays post is a quickie layout I did using the Picknix Collection 1 CD from Polka Doodles, I used elements from each of the three catergories to create this. I might have another go at digi scrapbooking, it was quite good fun layering up all the images, and there is no mess with glue, I just need a few lessons from my son on how to get rid of parts of images I don't want, i.e the edges of the photo so that the it just fits in the heart shape.

Sketch n Stash......

Morning peeps, wow what a weekend, snow snow and more snow, feels more like Christmas than Easter.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash, and this week we have the optional theme of.....For the boys. I have used papers, stamp and metal embellishments from Papermania, the car image is a stamp from Oxford Impressions. I did make a card that featured one of Fred She Said designs, but I had forgotten we were doing the optional theme of  for the boys and I had made a girly card.

Sugar Creek Hollow......

Afternoon all, hope you are not snowed in and managing to stay warm, I think the Easter Bunny will be delivering eggs in the snow this year instead of the sunshine. I went to the NEC yesterday for the hobby show with my daughter and baby Zachary......who was a sooooo good, apart from crying once, and believe me when he decides to cry, every one knows. I spent too much as usual, I brought a couple of spellbinders that I have been after as well as stocking up on card and ribbon. My daughter was after beads to make star wands for her bridesmaids, so I guess we will be busy making those next.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is to alter something, don't forget we want to see your vintage or shabby chic style, for my project I started this altered canvas at a workshop and then fininshed it off at home, I thought it was perfect for this challenge, instead of using the front of the canvas, turn it over and add strips of card to create a shadow box. The papers and stamps that I have used are Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary. Love doing shadow boxes as you get to use lots of bits to fill each of the compartments.

Lily card.......

Morning peeps, I've finally done it, I've joined facebook, thought I ought to catch up with the 21st century, you never know I might even sucumb and buy a mobile phone......hmmmm that might be a step too far.
Todays card is using the beautiful new Lily stamp CI379 from Crafty Individuals, I stamped it onto one of the pages from The Springtime book and layered up the butterflies and parts of the lily. I used some of the flower stamps from the element collection  Flower Heads to create the dimensional flowers on the frame. I used the stencil Leafy Border and sparkle paste for the side borders and in the centre of the flowers I used micro beads.

OOh La La.....

Bonjour peeps today sees the start of a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme this fortnight is.....It's a man thing......oopppps nearly added an s to the word man now that would have been a challenge....lol.
For my card I have used images and papers from the Yesterdays Memories CD. On the edge of the torn strip I have heat embossed using gold, the images of the framed picture, fishing rod and bag have all been layered up for dimension.
My daughter has brought her dress, in fact it was the first dress that she saw and she only tried on two dresses, she has also got  her head dress so there is only me to get my outfit now, mind you I'm waiting till I have lost more weight.

Morning peeps hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend even if the weather is not that good, I'm off with my daughter later this morning wedding dress shopping, she has seen one see likes so we are going back to try it on, later this afternoon we have a weekly weigh in and I know that I have slipped this week, I'm still not eating chocolate though......two weeks now, but I have kinda made up for that with other naughty goodies.....ooppppps will need to try harder next week. Its soooo hard though as I'm icing easter eggs all week guess I'll just have to sniff them.....lol.

Brrrr......another cold and wet day, I remember a few years back we had a heat wave at Easter and the eggs were melting I think we'll probabaly get snow this year. Love Lovely Life.....

Morning fellow crafty bloggers hope you are all well and getting ready for more cold weather that we are supposed to be getting, I guess Spring is going to be late this year, my garden is very slowly coming along, mind you if I was a plant I wouldn't want to stick my head above ground at the moment.

Thought I would share with you a quick simple card using one of the Alice Palace stamps from Crafty Individuals "love lovely life". All I have done is masked across the top and bottom of the card, used distress inks Lemonade and stormy Sky and then stamped on the image, I used promarkers to colour in some more detail on the image. Just loving these quirky designs.
The ribbon I put on back to front because I wanted the colours to look subtle.......just inacse your wondering why its back to front. I'm looking forward to the nec hobbycraft show next week, I'm going on the Friday this year hoping that it won't be as rammed as Saturday.......I've saved some pennies ready for a little spend....lol.

Kew Floral.....

Morning peeps well what a flippin' freezing day we had yesterday, snowing on and off all day, Spring must be round the corner although I can remember it snowing in May and June once.....showing my age, I'm begining to feel creaky especially getting in and out of the window at work yesterday....not a pretty sight with me reversing backwards with bottom in the air, although I did loose 5lbs last week, just not sure if any came off in the vital spots.....lol

Today sees the launch of a new Cd Kew Floral  at 1:00pm and 6:00pm on Create and Craft, think the boys at Krafty Hands are in design overload as they have come up with another fabbie floral Cd to whet your appetite, this time lots of gorgeous floral designs, including stepper cards that are so quick and simple to make.

Morning peeps hope you all had a lovely relaxing day yesterday celabarting Mothers Day, must say I spent most of it making Wedding Invitations with my daughter,I didn't even get a cup of tea in bed let alone breakfast we had a bit of a production line going.It was sooooo busy in the shop on Saturday so I guess alot of lucky Mums will be tucking into yummy chocolate today. I have managed to loose 5lbs in weight ready for the big day in June, have just got to keep it up, I didn't have 1 chocolate last week which was quite an achievement for me. Oh well onto this fortnights challenge at Sketch n Stash.
