Afternoon all, hope you are not snowed in and managing to stay warm, I think the Easter Bunny will be delivering eggs in the snow this year instead of the sunshine. I went to the NEC yesterday for the hobby show with my daughter and baby Zachary......who was a sooooo good, apart from crying once, and believe me when he decides to cry, every one knows. I spent too much as usual, I brought a couple of spellbinders that I have been after as well as stocking up on card and ribbon. My daughter was after beads to make star wands for her bridesmaids, so I guess we will be busy making those next.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at
Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is to alter something, don't forget we want to see your vintage or shabby chic style, for my project I started this altered canvas at a workshop and then fininshed it off at home, I thought it was perfect for this challenge, instead of using the front of the canvas, turn it over and add strips of card to create a shadow box. The papers and stamps that I have used are Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary. Love doing shadow boxes as you get to use lots of bits to fill each of the compartments.
have a lovely weekend
