Melt art and Beeswax.....
Afternoon peeps thought I'd share with you the photos that I have finally managed to take of the project that I did in a class with Lin Brown a couple of weeks back. It was an intensive two days and I think we were all shattered as well as Lin herself at the end of it, we did so many techniques with beeswax and Utee.....thoroughly enjoyed it. I said I would do a piece of art for my sons room, I chose the theme of travel inspired by the colours in his wallpaper for my Configurations Box . We used pan pastels for colouring as well as the scrummy metal waxes called Treasure Gold available from PaperArtsy.....had to buy some of those when I was at the show last week. We also used Crunchy waxed paper for the flower (tried not to make it look too girlie), as well as Perfect Pearls and Fresco Paints.......ages since I last got so inky and messy.

This is beautiful! I wouldn't have known it was a configurations box unless you had not mentioned it! I'm wondering what you used the bees wax on? I ordered some a while back but have not figured out what to use it on or what can go on top of it or in it for color?
