Faux Bleaching....

My final project that I made on Saturday with Lindsay Mason is this card using just three colours of distress ink and clear water, I admit to adding some Stardust stickels on the trees and snowman.....well I needed some glitter.....lol.
I must admit it was quite fun to do and I certainly need a bit more practice. My snowman does look a smidge scary.....lol

Looked after Zachary yesterday and he had a play in the garden with his Grandad
mind you Grandad was supposed to be building the pond edges to make it a bit
more Zachary safe being as he's into everything, but I think he got sidetracked.

have a great day
back to work tomorow, still aload more jobs to do.

Dylusions......

Morning peeps, the tag that I am posting today is another project that I made on Saturday, lots of spraying and spritzing of Dylusion sprays.....such a yummy range of  vibrant colours. The snowmen are from the Doo Lally Pip range of stamps, as is the holly border. The technique used for the Holly is faux bleaching, after stamping the image use  clear water to remove colour from inside the leaves, after that has dried, colour leaves with distress inks, I've highlighted the leaves and berries with a white gel pen.
After the tag was completed it was spritzed with perfect pearls for a lovely shimmer.

Have a fabbie day.

Challenges
Craft My Life.....anything but a card.
Make my Monday......anything but a card.

Doo Lally Pip......

Doo Lally Pip.......what a great name for a range of stamps, this is a card that I made at Daisy Jewels on Saturday with Lindsay Mason, the stamp set I used was called great fun and a different way to create a background after stamping and colouring in an image, there is also a tutorial in this month Craft Stamper magazine how to do this technique.Basically you stamp and colour your image then use Glue n' Seal over the image, after that dries you can use your distress inks and stencils to build up layers of colour. Because the Glue n' Seal acts as a resist you can get stronger colour around the image and then using a damp paper towel just wipe over the image to take off any colour off the sealed image. The same technique has been used over the stamped sentiment and I have added Glue n Seal around the edges of the card as well.

Hopefully spending a day in the garden today,
lots to do before the arrival of Autumn

Ooh La La Creations......

Morning peeps hope you all had a fabbie weekend, can't say I did, feeling out of sorts at the moment and I can't find anything to kick start my mojo, not sure why just feeling down I guess. My little Grandson  Zachary who is just 8 months old has decided he prefers to walk everywhere, he can't quite do it on his own but is happy getting around the furniture, when he wants to go any where else he lets go with one hand and hold his hand up for you to hold and then help him walk.....he is such a strong minded character, and knows how to get his own way....me thinks he's going to be a handful.
We are starting a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations today , and we have the theme of ....inspired by a song for you to join in. Now I don't know many songs that would fit the images I have apart from the usual songs that spring to mind, I used papers and an image to make these two cards from the Every Day Occasions. The song that inspired me is Little Red Rooster by the Rolling Stones.

Sketch n Stash......

Morning peeps hope you all had a fabbie weekend, mine was another blur, had my two Grandsons for a  sleepover on Saturday, whilst Mummy and Daddy partied. At least Zachary sleeps all night so no midnight feeds now. I was then going to go to the Great British Craft  show at Stoneleigh on the Sunday.....well I did eventually get there at lunch time after going with my son for a test drive in a Citroen DS3, he's well smitten with this car and now he's working he wanted to buy his own car.....which he did, hence I was late getting to the show. I didn't really buy that much just some card, card blanks and a couple of other bits n bobs. In fact its the least I've ever brought.....must be feeling ill.....lol.

Today sees the start of a new challnege at Sketch n Stash, this fortnight we are being sponsored by Ooh La La Creations, so one lucky winner get a CD of their choice. WE are also welcoming 5 new ladies who are joining us on the team, pop over and check out all the lovely fabbie cards that the team have made.
I made a card for my nephews birthday, I thought this image was perfect for him as hes's into golf as well as fishing. I have used the Boys to Men CD for this.
