Picnic Time.......

What a miserable day we had yesterday, hoping that today is a little brighter, mind you it was perfect excuse to start decorating the Kitchen, mind you now I've stripped the walls and started the painting I've got to finish it, lots of fiddly cutting as well, paper crafting skills should come in handy.....lol. We are taking the boys out today for a treat, well providing the weather stays reasonable, hopefully we will be able to have a picnic as well.
Todays card is from the new Picnic Time Cd soon to be released by Kraftyhands, if you love teddies this will perfect, lots of cute Teds with pretty papers. This card is one of the card sets all I've added is ribbon, card candy and pearls to the butterflies.

OOh La La Creations......

Bonjour.......... I'm back again with another card for the new challenge starting at Ooh La la Creations, the theme this fortnight is, Bear it all. Now we only want to see projects with Teddy Bears on and not anything else.....lol. For my card I used papers and image from the Everyday Occasions Cd.

Sketch n Stash.....

Yay another Bank Holiday, and I'm off for a few days, just need the sun to shine, at least I managed to get a couple of pots planted up ready for Summer and I treated myself to some topiary shears, my hubby brought me a spiral box tree a few years ago and every year I trim it with a pair of scissors......takes forever but with my new shears its so much easier and very therapeutic  I must say, might be a new hobby now.....lol.
Todays card is for the new challenge at Sketch n Stash, this fortnight we are being sponsored by A Day For Daisies, this image is a freebie, which I think its adorable, I have used Prismas to colour her in and then sprinkled on gold and white frantage around the edge of the image Papers are First Edition.

Have a great Bank Holiday

Todays card is for the new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme is......Food /Drink, for my card I have used the Femme Fatale Cd from Kraftyhands. I have embossed the edge of the frame with Frantage and then added pearls to the inside edge

Lap full of trouble............

Afternoon peeps just lying here, well half sitting up whilst typing this after having spent a tiring day with Zachary, I've finally got a few moments to myself before getting the tea ready. What a lovely sunny day its been today, and hopefully more of the same to come......just means I will be busy at work selling ice creams instead of chocolate.
Thought I would share with you one of the Lay outs that I did last weekend at the crop I went to. Lots of cutting to create this patchwork effect, just not very good at getting straight lines when it came to sticking all the pieces down. What a great idea/tip to stamp onto a thin cork tile, its so effective and I will definitely be doing it again. I love the little mini book which sits in the pocket as well. The heart has been crossed stitched which is what I  used to do many years ago when I had my own needlecraft shop. Now I hardly do any as I'm too busy with paper crafting.

Time for a Nana nap now

Sketch n Stash......

Evening to you all sorry this post is a day late but I'm still playing catch up, just need more hours and in a day and I reckon I will have it licked. Mind you I've spent most of the day looking after Zachary and after a work out at the local soft play area I am in need of a rest. I seemed to have more energy when I used to look after Ethan, guess I'm not getting any younger.
My card today is for the challenge at Sketch n Stash, we are being sponsored by Ooh la La creations so it seemed a perfect excuse to make another card featuring the new Cd that is coming out at the beginning  of June called .....Say it with words, for this card I have used one of the digi images that you get so not only do you get the coloured version you also get an image that you can colour in yourself. This one is called Christmas in the heart, I have coloured it in with Prismas. the heart is a die from Joy Crafts which I coloured in with Prismas and the heat embossed with Aurora embossing powder.

one lucky winner gets to choose a cd of their own choice

Crafty Individuals.....

Morning peeps ......I'm such a bad blogger these days, I haven;'t made any cards in awhile either I've been making a couple of Graphic 45 albums though and they are time consuming and now that the sun is shining I have been doing some gardening although afterwards I ached like anything, guess I'm out of condition. I've actually started to feel alot better as well which is great news although I have still got to go for another CT scan in a couple of weeks as they found something wrong with a kidney......could be a stone but they are not sure.
I did manage to make a card for my sons birthday which was a couple of weeks ago, and being as he's into steam trains this new stamp CI-404 from Crafty Individuals was perfect, along with a train track stamp I picked up a couple of years ago from a show....sorry I can't remember the manufacturer. The wishes stamp CI-408 and medieval script stamp CI-406 are from Crafty Individuals as is the ticket stamp that I used to randomly stamp on the background, the pocket watch is also from CI.
