Music to my ears........

Evening and welcome to another project for the Crafty Individuals challenge this month, the theme is Music to my ears and is open to interpretation, perhaps you have a favourite song, just remember that you need to use at least one crafty Individuals product and then you can claim a code for a whopping 25% discount off their website. I have created a small hanging measuring 10 x 10 ins. truth be told I did make this panel for a recent DT call but didn't make the grade but I thought I'd share with you the instructions to create this. So warning this is a photo heavy post so grab a cuppa and read on........

List of materials needed
Aspire Dekro Mount frame & ATCS
Basic tool kit
PaperArtsy Fresco paints:
Nougat, Guacamole, Wisteria, Snowflake and Antarctic.
Crafty individual stamps : CI-206, CI-366, CI-194, CI-432
CI-393, and CI-346.
Wow ultra fine gold embossing powder.
Pearls, strips and individual.
Lace,
Gems various sizes
Prima micro beads copper
Dble sided tape, foam pads
Zig wink of stella brush in clear
Ribbon or seam binding
Stickles in Gold and Stardust.
White embroidery floss
Black archival and Hydrangea ink
Versamark.
Colouring pencils or markers

Step 1
Paint blank frame and ATCs with Nougat paint for a base coat, then using Guacamole, wisteria and Antarctic dab on paint all over frame using a wet wipe, making sure all of the background is covered. To lighten colours use Snowflake and wipe over with a wet wipe again.By using a wet wipe it softens any edges and helps the paint to blend.

Step 2
Using CI-366 stamp, the lady on the piano, violin and CI-346, Dancing Lady, CI-393 fans onto white card, also stamp out the fan again using Hydrangea archival ink, colour in the images, cut out the lady dancing, piano, violin, some of the butterflies and the fan, as well as the teapot from CI-432 stamp set.

Step 3
Using black archival ink stamp onto the background the music advert from CI-366 onto the bottom left of the frame, the lady dancing onto the bottom right, tea for two tag top left and the butterflies and fan to the top right

Step 4
Remove the ATCs from the frame and put to one side.

Step 5
Randomly stamp the Music sheet stamp CI-194 onto the background using Versamark, then use gold embossing powder and heat set.

Step 6
Now you can start to build up the layers on the ATCs using foam pads to build up the layers of the images.

Step 7
Using CI-206 Flower heads ( I used 3 different sizes) and stamped onto patterned paper with Versamark and embossed in gold, I also stamped again on Vellum using white embossing powder and coloured in with pink markers.

Step 8
Decorate the ATCs, stick lace to the back, add gems and pearls, a bow, stickles, wink of stella brush to the butterflies, dress and tea for 2.

Step 9
Cut out flowers and shape on the back with an embossing tool, I snip in between one of the petals and stick overlaying the snipped petal so that the flower has dimension. Layer up three flower heads to form the large flower and keep some flat, add micro beads to the centres. Glue in place and add any finishing touches making a mini tassel for the fan adding gems.
