Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash, this fortnights sketch is by our fabbie teamie Janet.

One lucky winner gets to spend £10

For my card I used this sweet stamp from LOTV, as is the sentiment, the image I coloured with Prisma pencils, the papers are from Papermania, New Arrival, such pretty pastel colours. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the pearls are from Meiflower.

We then stopped by to visit my daughter and Grandsons......that will take some getting used to saying.... Grandsons. I took my Mum with me to see her new Great Grandson and she had a little cuddle.

Sugar Creek Hollow.....

Evening peeps firstly I would like to thank you all for your lovely supportive comments, they have meant so much to me, I'm sorry that I haven't had chance to pop by your blogs and see your lovely creations but time has got the better of me these past couple of weeks, but I think I've just about caught up with everything, well I hope I have.
This post should have been done yesterday but I couldn't get any half decent pictures of this gift bag that I have made for this weeks challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow. The theme this week is .....For a Gift. This is the last challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow this year but we will be back on Saturday 5th January.

I have used papers and images from Live and Love Crafts, the papers are called Christmas time by Maja Design. The Tim Holtz die cut I embossed with a lovely deep burgundy embossing powder from Stampendous. The snowflakes with images on I confess to having ages ago and can't remeber the manufacturer.

Baby pictures.....

Phew its been a tad busy at work today but at least I'm off tomorrow so we will get to see baby Zachary and Ethan after going Christmas shopping, Ethan absolutely adores his baby brother and gave him his teddy to cuddle. .....awwwww. Mind you I had to laugh when my daughter told me Ethan got his medical kit and tried to check Zacharys reflexes with his hammer...... think this baby will have to grow up real fast.

one proud Nana, you forget how tiny they are.

I took this picture of my son holding Zachary, he looked straight at the camera and smiled.
He is only 18 hours old.....can you believe it.

I'm fininshed.....

Well its official I have finished the marathon, four weeks of painting and two days of carpet laying, moving every piece of furniture in the house, I've spring cleaned, well winter cleaned, I've decluttered and I am pooooopppppped, oh and I managed to get the Christmas trees up as well, just wanted to mark the occassion being as its 12122012. My daughter went into labour yesterday but has gone off the boil, we thought she was going to give birth today as she has a thing about 2's, my daughters birthday is the 22nd, Ethans birthday and her partners birthday is the 2nd so it seemed fitting that the next one should have a 2 in as well. I can get into my craft room again and catch up with a few Christmas cards that I have yet to make.

Monday 10 December 2012

Ooh la La......

Bonjour everyone, its official I have finally fininshed the painting of al the woodwork, a marathon for three weeks nearly, I didn't even get time to put up my Christmas tree ....awwww. So will have to do that on Tuesday and then the upstairs is being carpeted on Wednesday, I have had to empty my craft room today and pile everything into my bedroom ready for my new crapets, there is just enough room to squeeze into bed, unfortunately I won't be able to craft this week as it will take me all day to put everything back.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, the theme is REFLECTIONS I have used one of the images from the new Cd called  Yesterdays Memories, lots of lovely vintage images and papers to play with. I have distressed the edges with tea dye ink to age the image.

Morning peepsters hope you all had a lovely weekend, mine was jammed packed with painting, I never want to see a tin of white paint again especially if it has the word Gloss on the side.....phew what a marathon. I also took my daughter to Leicester yesterday first thing so she could get her last bits n bobs for Christmas......due day ....Today. we went to the bear factory shop, never been in one before but all those dinky little clothes you can get are amazing and oh so sweet. I love how you have to pick a heart and kiss it before it gets put inside. The children were enraptured by the process......think I might jave to buy myself a bear so I can play dress up....lol

Anyway enough of my ramblings today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash, and this week we have a lovely sketch by Sue.
