Ready Teddy Go.......

Mornng peeps , brrrrrr tis another cold one here, but at least its begining to feel alot like Christmas (are you humming it yet) and that famous fizzy drink advert has been on the TV so its official......The Holidays are Coming(are you hummimg that as well yet).....lol. The days are all a blur for me at the moment what ever you do don't order new carpets for two weeks before Christmas because the work load is horrendous, I've decluttered wardrobes, I've had to paint all of the wood work in the house and now we've got to get all the carpets up ready for Thursday......oh and my daughter is due to give birth any day now with my second Grandson.....so exciting!!

After all that, the reason for todays post is that its December the 1st so you can all open your calenders and join us at Ready Teddy Go for another monthly challenge, the theme this month is Clean and Simple, problem with me is I stuggle with this and have probably added far too many layers and bling to be CAS, so hope you forgive me for my version. The sweet little ted is from Lili of the Valley and is coloured with Prismas, ok I've added glitter and bling snowflakes, but there are no flowers.....lol

Ooh La La.....

Bonjour, spent  a lovely day yesterday at a Train show at the NEC, they have lots of train layouts, beautifully made, they  had a couple of full size steam trains there that you can go on. We took Ethan with us and he thoroughly enjoyed himself, he asked the man so many questions about the inside of the train and he had a go at pulling all the handles.My son spent quite a bit on a new train so if he dare moan at me buying crafting stash again, I shall remind him of what he spends....lol

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, I have made two cards using the same papers and image, these are on the new Cd Yuletide Wishes, lots of lovely whimsiacl festive designs to choose from.

Sugar Creek Hollow.......

Afternoon peeps this is a very short post so appologies, but after yesterday I'm left devasted and reeling and not in the mood for blogging I never thought I could hurt so much, I feel like my heart is broken and not sure how I will recover, so appologies again if I don't visit anyone for a few days.
Sugar Creek Hollow has a new challenge starting today, the theme is a Vintage Christmas, I've kept my card to all shades of greys and turquoises, with a Frantage angel and sparkly snowflakes, Papers and santa image are from Live and Love Crafts, the stamp is by Stempleglade......sorry it looks very pale in the photo.

Winter.......

Morning fellow bloggers and what a miserable start it is here, lashing it down with rain in fact its rained all night so I might have to take my rubber ring with me when I walk to work today.
I thought I'd show you a book card that I have made featuring lots of stamps including te new ones from Crafty Individuals.......remember you still have time to join in this months challenge.....Festive Sparkle and when you enter you can get a code for 25% off their fabulous goodies online, and not only that with all orders over £18 you get the tree stamp that I used free......amazing !!!!
I have kept this all in white just adding colour with embossing and the focal image on the front was coloured in with Prismas, lots of sparkle on this one with wow embossing powders and glitter. The snowflakes are so sweet, little minature ones also available from CI, these I coloured in silver and added glitter to the top. Die cut is by Marrianne, including the grass one on the scene.

Quick and simple......

Morning peeps Daniele here with another quick and simple Christmas card for you, featuring the lovely papers and images from the GingerBread Twist Cd, I've used gimp to layer the images onto the backing paper and then printed an extra image of the gingerbread , holly and tickets to layer ontop for added depth.......easy peasy.

Baby card.....

Morninng peeps hope you are well, welcome to my new followers and thank you for all your lovely comments, sorry if I'm a bit slow at getting around these days to visiting you, but things are hotting up at work and what with painting the entire house......bit of a marathon , by the end of the day I'm pooped and in bed by 9:30pm......such a light weight these days. Today I shall be painting the doors upstairs think I'll be high on paint fumes soon but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Thought I'd make a baby card and join in the Challenge at Whiff of Joy as I haven't played there in a long time, I've sold all my baby cards at work now so I need to replenish them, I've raised over a £100 for the NSPCC so far.
The papers are from Papermania called New Arrival, they are quite subtle and the word one hasn't photographed that well, I did make a matching boy card one as well.

Morning peeps hope you all had a fabbie weekend, what a glorious sunny day we had yesterday, I managed to catch up with a few more DT cards before I begin the Christmas rush at work, as well as decluttering two wardrobes, in fact I managed to empty the contents of the wardrobe in my craft room ......so guess what ......I have another space to fill, hmmmm now what should I put in there. Better write a list for Santa.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sketch n Stash, we have a lovely sketch for by our lovely Doreen.

Sugar Creek Hollow

Afternoon peeps.....ohhhh its the weekend again, hope you are all having a good one, more painting for me again this weekend though before I get my new carpets in a couple of weeks.
We have a new challenge for you at Sugar Creek Hollow and the theme this week is to use Kraft, I decide to use a bag that I got when I brought some stash as the papercraft show a few weeks back. The main background is corrugated card painted with Snowtex, floral  paper is Pion, and the diecut images I added a liberal sprinkling of glitter....., and I just had to add a frantaged snowflake so love doing these.

Melt art and Beeswax.....

Afternoon peeps thought I'd share with you the photos that I have finally managed to take of the project that I did in a class with Lin Brown a couple of weeks back. It was an intensive two days and I think we were all shattered as well as Lin herself at the end of it, we did so many techniques with beeswax and Utee.....thoroughly enjoyed it. I said I would do a piece of art for my sons room, I chose the theme of travel inspired by the colours in his wallpaper for my Configurations Box . We used pan pastels for colouring as well as the scrummy metal waxes called Treasure Gold available from PaperArtsy.....had to buy some of those when I was at the show last week. We also used Crunchy waxed paper for the flower (tried not to make it look too girlie), as well as Perfect Pearls and Fresco Paints.......ages since I last got so inky and messy.

this is the wallpaper that I have just decorated my sosn room in and was the 

inspiration for the colours of my box.

Ooh La la Creations......

Morning peeps what a lovely sunny day we had yesterday, I spent the day gloss painting skirting boards in the bedrooms all day, problem is I now need to paint the doors as well as all of the  downstairs, once you start painting the rest looks shabby so I've got three weeks to complete my painting marathon before I get my new carpets.......can't wait.
I only just managed to finish my card in time for todays challenge at Ooh La La Creations, the theme this week is .....For someone special. I've used a lovely vintage christmas image from the Passion for fashion Cd, lots of vintage images for you to choose from and this one was in the bonus section.
I mounted the image over two doilies and the metal holly leaf embellishment I painted, then brushed with gold and added stickles for the berries.

Sugar Creek Hollow.....

Afternoon peeps ......I feel like I've been awol all week, It's  flown by quicker than normal, which is usually really fast anyway. Starting to get busier at work now, what with window changes and moves oh and servng the customers and finishing off a knitted shawl for my daughters best friend who has just had a baby girl I've had no time for card making, however I did manage to fit in a shopping day at the NEC on Thursday, which was really busy I did to get there nice and early so I was able to book some workshops in between shopping and classes I had a lovely day.

Today sees the start of a new chalenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is .....One for the guys, so we would love to see your male vintage or shabby chic cards.
For my card I have used a stamp from B Line which I have to admit to the first time to inking it up ......slap my hand, but it is quite large one which is why apart from  a sentiment and a clock embellishment I haven't added anything else. I  coloured in the image with Prismas adding Rock Candy to some of the clock faces.

Morning peeps, had a lovely relaxing weekend spent with some lovely ladies getting all inky, we did a bit of huffing and puffing when we were assembling our configurtaions boxes, well I think I did the most, not good with really small fiddly bits. Pictures to follow, just hating these darker days as its a pain to get decent photos now.

Christmas sparkle.....

Morning peeps hope you are having a fabbie weeend, I spent yesterday getting very inky and messy....went through quite a few baby wipes I can tell you back to class tomorrow to finish off our projects, lots of beeswax and utee going on.

The challenge over at Craft Individuals has started and this month the theme was chosen by Brenda Brown she has chosen Festive Sparkle, to join in all you need to do is use at least one Crafty Individuals product and not only that Jean is giving all entrants a discount code of 25% off any of their products on line......and have you checked out the new stamps.....fabaroonie. For my card I have used one of the very first stamps I brought from them featuring this sweet angel carrying a tree CI 211, I coloured the image in with prismas added glitter for the snow and then triple embossed, then popped in into the freezer to crack the surface. The frame is coloured with gold dabber with white and black embossed snowflakes. The background is gold embossed using the Christmas script stamp CI 058.
Unfortunately my sparkle dosn't show that well from the photos.....but trust me its there...lol.

Afternoon peeps hope you are all well and enjoying the start of the weekend, I'm off for two days and I'm having a totally indulgent weekend as I'm off to a two day class with Lin Brown doing a mixed media project.....ages since I got inky and messy.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is.....  Cream plus two other colours. I have used Cream, blue and brown. The papers are Ella Blue from g.c.d. studios. The dies  are new spellbinders, really fiddly but oh so lovely.

Morning peeps hope you all had a spooky fun evening last night, I had a very orange faced pumpkin knock on my door......pictures to follow. Have to admit had a pretty rotten day yesterday, problems at work, I think I'm getting too old to deal with all the stress that comes with being a manager.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ready Teddy Go and the theme this month is ......not square so any other shape card is fine.
I have made a centre stepper card featuring Fizzy Moon using papers from the Fizzy Moon paper pad.I've kept this one very simple with just a bow and glitter.
