Flowers make me smile
Well they made me smile as I loved doing this class with the brill Linda from LB Crafts and although I have a stinking cold I managed to keep up...I appologise if anyone catches it but my dear grandson gave it me...bless him!!. The class consisted of embossing metal and painting the embossed floral design with perfect pearls, I was thrilled with finished result as this is something I would never normally do, thoroughly recommend it. After all that work I just had to enter it into a couple of challenges....Lily Boo the theme is Mothers Day and Being as this is a plant pot of flowers its a perfect gift idea.Alphabet challenge the letter this week is S for stamping....the flowers were stamped onto the metal usuing Stazon and the floral design was stamped in black and embossed in clear, two types of stamping with different effects. Decoupage is the theme at Cooking it up with Katie....The flowers were made up of three layers and the flower pot consists of two layers.
