Sugar Creek Hollow......

Evening peeps sorry this is a smidge late, another hectic week here, Mum got took into hospital on Wednesday with a suspected stroke, looks like it was a mini one but she is now on tablets to reduce the risk of a major stroke, but its a worry especially as she insists on living on her own at 84, we had a follow up appointment at the stroke clinic the next day, makes a change sitting next to the bed instead of in it.
Hope you all got lots of love tokens from your loved ones, my Grandson Ethan got two Valentines.....they sure start early these days, my hubby brought me Jelly Babies and flowers.

Todays challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow is.....Dreaming of the Beach, and with the dreadful weather we have had these past few months I think we are all dreaming of the beach and sunny days. I have used stamps and papers from Crafty Individuals, The main stamp CI-119 is painted with distress inks and then I have added Prismas to highlight, then I spritzed it with gold glimmer mist. The shells I picked up from lake Garda and the winkle one I brought in Amsterdam, right next to a sex shop, funny place for a shop that sold shells.
The shell corners are embossed in gold and again from CI.

the pocket is a folded tag so that the postcard can slip inside.

We have a Guest Designer joining us for this challenge and I hope you will feel Marie Svensson (a.k.a. Primia) feel welcome and pop over to her blog and check out all her vintage beauties.
Don't forget that we want to see your vintage /shabby chic creations
hugs n smiles

I am so sorry to read your Mum had to be admitted to hospital, such a worry. I hope each days sees an improvement in her health.
Beautiful soft muted colours. A tonic to the weather we are all experiencing (although in my corner of the country I cannot complain too much compared to those suffering in parts of England).
Wishes
