Ready Teddy Go......

Morning peeps hope you are having a wonderful weekend, at least  the sun is kind of shining not exactly Flaming June yet, but any sun is welcome. Well yesterday was quite poignant as my son finally left his job working with me at Thorntons, he'd been there for 8 years and every year I would say this will be your last Christmas......and now it was, we will all miss him, cos he made fabbie cups of tea. He's really enjoying his new job, in fact hes only been there two weeks and they have given him the keys to open up in the morning......well he lives the furthest away and hes gets there the earliest, I guess the others get a lie in They are really impressed with his modeling.....the 3D variety incase you think otherwize.....lol.

Well onto todays card which should have been posted yesterday but I didn't want to bore you with 3 posts in one day. Todays card is for the new challenge at Ready Teddy Go..... the theme is Whos the Daddy. We would love to see cards featuring Teddies for Dad, birthday/fathers day.

Ready Teddy Go

Morning peeps sorry I've not been around much this week I've had a bit of a down week, my Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers Dementia and its knocked me and my Sis for six as Mum insists on staying at home, so we are having to work out a rota of care as well as fitting in work and looking after my Grandson, then to top it off as its been busy at work with Fathers Day I was told to only use an additional 6 hours for the week, to say I have been run ragged is an understatement and I'm feeling very tired and down. Mind you the cherry on the top was having my PDR on Friday afternoon I think my ABM was pulling his hair out with me due to lack of sparkle and shine......I wonder why! I think I'd left my Super Woman pants at home that day.....lol.

Just to let you know that its just half way for The Ready Teddy Go challenge, the theme this month is ONE FOR THE BOYS......well being as its Fathers Day today I thought I'd make another Fathers Day card and this one features a Teddy Bo image. I coloured the image in with Prismas as well the little wooden frog which I then put glossy accents on the top with a sprinkle of glitter.

Jingle Bo......

Afternoon peeps, thought I'd post this card today although its another Christmas one, I coloured the image before Christmas hoping to make it before the big day but I didn't get time so I made the card this week and finally fininshed it today.
The image is from Teddy Bo.com another sweetie of an image and I used Prismas for the colouring. The papers are from First Edition, I made a stepper card because I wanted to create a scene with a layered effect, so the first step is made up of several torn papers in white and blue to represent the snow, I then used Snow Writer by Decocraft for the snow and added stickles to the top of that when it had dried for added sparkle.I also placed a folded tree ontop of another tree which had been distressed using Pine Needles and then embossed in Cosmic Shimmer Aurora to get a dimensional one.

Let it Snow........

Afternoon peeps, just sat down after cleaning the windows in the conservatory ready for Christmas, I spring clean just before I put the tree up, sad I know, its just at this time of the year the windows look dirty when the sun shines.....you know what I mean. So I've just got the rest of downstairs to do next week. I've nearly finished my shopping which is just as well as it was really busy at work yesterday.
I fininshed this card this morning and it features sweet Teddy Bo dressed as a Snowman, I've used blues and purples to colour this delightful image as the theme for the Teddy Bo challenge this week is Christmas but no red and greens, the papers are some from a craft magazine ages ago, I thought it was about time I used up some of my scraps.

Ready-Teddy-Go......

Wow 1st October and super hot, could be snowing next week though......lol, we should all be in for a really warm weekend, hopefully get the rest of my gardening done in preperation for the Spring. Its also the begining of a new challenge at Ready-Teddy-Go, some lovely entries again last month, the theme for the third challenge is 'Punch it out'..........so we want to see you use punches for this challenge, I used a Martha Stewart punch to create this lacey frame, I threaded gingham ribbon through it and finished with a bow, the image is another Teddy Bo design this one is called 'Scratchy' Bo baby and trains. haven't done a baby card for a while, just loved this image, mind you i say that about them all. I haven't actually used any design papers under the image, I just mounted it on white card for the lace effect to show up. Image coloured in with Prisma pencils and Star Dust stickles added to the egde, a nice and simple layout.
