Yay......... the weather man got it right at last and its snowing, now I know lots of you are fed up with the white stuff but we've missed out apart fom when the whole country was covered. Decided to take my mum and grandson to a local play centre called Jam Jam Boomerang.....funny name for a play centre. Mum, after getting used to the loud noise of all the children, thoroughly enjoyed herself sipping cappucino and watching all the kids have fun especially her own daughter who was playing on the slide, ball pool, and climbing blocks although it was an excuse called looking after her grandson....... who said at 50+ you can't have fun...lol.
I was quite excited when I saw the sketch for Lili of the Valley challenge this week as it looked gorgeous, so at 7.30am I dashed upstairs to make a start on todays card......ok I walked upstairs but had the body been willing I would have dashed...lol. I started to punch out the border when it jammed and could i unjam it...no.... so I had to wait for my son to get up so he could fix it for me.....I find these punches by Martha Stewart abit frustrating as my heart punch hates paper so consequently my card is a little later than planned.
Challenges for this card are:
Lili of the Valley challenge.....followed the sketch have been dying to use this stamp as its so sweet as is the little girl one.
Fab n Funky.......have the theme of a child card.
Papertake....use check or gingham.
If the shoe fits challenge...Mad for plaid is the title for this weeks challenge.
Hugs for now Daniele x
