I had a lovely day at a class with Linda Elbourne yesterday it was called Chip and Bling......it was soooo inky as my fingers ended up a lovely shade of aged mahogany with a hint of black....such fun, but I think my customers will think them strange on Monday because after several washes and scrubbing they are still a lovely shade of pinky red. The final results were so worth it though, the pics below don't do it justice so will have to photograph it later again. I still need to add one more panel but somehow managed to loose the piece of lace so will have to finish it when I can get some more lace. I have entered this in a challenge as it was aptly named .....Inky fingers at
Tuesday Taggers. The prize has been donated this week by
The Craft Barn. Also the theme at
Simon Says is vintage with flowers.
I must confess at this point I glimmer misted it with irridescent gold when I had fininshed
it I hope Linda forgives me as I am so into glimmer mist at the moment.
My inky fingers although on the photo they don't look too bad .
Close ups of each panel
