Spring......

Spring must be around the corner as the suns out and the sky is blue. we got back from Disneyland Paris on sunday evening and had 4 days of beautiful blue sky......but it was brrrr. cold. We picked the wrong week to go as it was rammed, when we got back we found out that it was half term in France, Germany and Holland.....bad planning or what. Its very expensive there now so heres a tip if there are five or more in the family get a year pass......you can upgrade your tickets in the park, we brought a day ticket on the boat.....definately much cheaper than at the park, £48 on the boat, €68 euros at the gate. then we upgraded to a year pass on the first day which was cheaper to do than buy another day pass, now we can go again and again for another year and the parking is free (normally €15) and you also get 10% disc. on food and all the shops. Any excuse for another visit to see Mickey and friends. Ethan loved the boat going over but was not sure about some of the rides except .....you guessed it ....Its a Small world, every child favourite, sorry if you are now humming the tune all day, we did get to meet Mickey though again Ethan was unsure, but after queing he said he wanted to meet him again. He loved the Playhouse Disney show and Lilo and Stitch, where my poor son got picked on....was a laugh though, not sure if Richard will ever live it down.

Hugs for now

How funny...only yesterday I was sorting through some books and came across the Disneyland "guide" we bought when we went some years ago with my daughter and her cousin. I can distinctly remember the long lines of people waiting for the rides and have a feeling that there really is no "right" moment whatever time of year!
When we went we stayed in the Camp Davy Crockett...great fun, and certainly brought out the kid hidden in each of us adults!
