Ooh La La Creations.............
Morning peeps hope you are all still basking in this wonderful sunshine, just enough breeze to cool things down.....a perfect summers day, although its rain later in the week but hopefully not for a whole month this time.I spent the first part of yesterday morning just finishing off the garden, popping in a few more plants and then the rest of it I was being chased around the garden by my Grandson as he squirted me with his water gun, not a pretty sight although I could have entered a wet Tee shirt competition as I was soaked......lol
There were so many gorgeous entries for the last challenge at Ooh La La Creations, so I'm sure your're going to love the new challenge that starts today as the theme is..... Make it girly.
For my card I used one of the fairy images from the last CD Fairies in Bloom called Margot. All of the papers and elemnts are from the same CD collection.
I'm off today, just loving these two days off together, but I had better get some housework done as I've a pile of ironing to do as well as cleaning through.

Sugar Creek Hollow......
Morning all, wow we are being spoilt with this gorgeous weather,I sure did scoop alot of ice cream yesterday, in fact if we are as busy again today I think we could actually sell out as my freezer is looking abit bare. I've brought a sun lounger for the garden and you can bet when I get to unwrap it on Sunday it will be snowing......lol, fingers crossed I get to use it, either that or I'll be hanging wallpaper if it snows.
Today sees the start of another challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this week is Vintage fashion, our sponser is....
www.digidoodleshop.com who have kindly donated $10 for our lucky winner, they also gave us an image to play with.
I have used Prisma to colour the image, the papers are from Prima called Natures Garden, I have used a parasol die by Die Versions called a Floral Parasol (these are quite tricky to cut as they are quite intricate), the rose trim is from The Hobby House, and the ticket stamps are also from Prima Natures Garden collection, the butterfly die is a Cheery Lynn one.
Challenges
Tuesday Alchemy......butterflies.
Party time Tuesday.....vintage or shabby chic.

Sugar Creek Hollow......
Morning peeps hope you are well and, its the weekend end again, I'm sure I said that only a couple of days ago and not 7.
For this weeks challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow we have the theme of SWIRLS and PEARLS but don't forget we want to see your Vintage/Shabby Chic/Primative creations not cutie ones unless they fit the theme.
This week we have a guest designer joining us, so welcome to Amelia Breytenbach, her blog can be found at http://otomys.wordpress.com/.
For my card I used the new Crafty Individuals 347 butterfly stamp and I tried something new, I stamped onto foil that I had sandwiched with angel hair, I also stamped onto the angel hair itself for the top butterfly and then coloured it with alcohol ink when cut out........not sure if I like the effect as the foil doesn't photograph very well at all and is quite dark. The image and papers are also from Crafty Individulas. I used Dusty Concord crackle paint on the sentiment frame, and then added pearls to secure it. My swirls are in gems rather than pearls for a more vibrant look.

Harry Potter.....
Evening peeps I thought I'd share with you some pics of our visit to Warner Bros studios to see the Making of Harry Potter.........didn't really know what to expect but was it worth it............YES.
It was amazing to get up close to the sets and props, we were amazed at how large evrything was, I was expecting small models but oh no Buck Beek was full size as was Hagrid, didn't realize how tall he was, although he is a half giant.....lol. The details were out of this world and the amount of people and skills that are needed to make a film is amazing, in fact the actors play a small part in comparison.

Mid way reminder......
Well its just a couple of days late, thought I'd make a reminder card for the challenge this month at Ready-Teddy-Go, the challenge this month is to pick 3 in a row from our bingo board.
We have a lovely sponser Birdie Brown this month who has kindly offered a prize of 3 digis to the winner.
Heres a little about her......
Hello everyone! I'm Torico, the owner of Birdie Brown.I'm a mom to two kids who live in Japan.
I've been loving doodling since I was a child, and have a passion for cardmaking now!
At my Etsy shop, Birdie Brown, I'm offering whimsical and cute (Japanese "kawaii") digital stamps created from my original illustrations.
For my card I used a Tatty Ted stamp from Papermania, coloured with Promarkers, the papers are also from Papermania, now I have been a little bit naughty and incorporated a full house off the Bingo board but remember you only have to do three in a row, I still managed to keep it simple though.
We are off to Warner Brother Studios tomorrow to have a look around The Harry Potter studios, I'm really looking forward to this as I think it will be great to actually walk on the set where they did the filming and see the Great Hall and where they made the models of Hogwarts as well as walk down Diagon Alley.
Challenges include
Simon Says.....clean and simple.
Pile it on.....clean and simple.
Sentimental Sunday.....Birthday and things that start with B.....Bear, Bling, Buttons, Butterflies, Bow.
Top Tip.....Clean and simple.
Charisma......use a metal charm.

A gem of a challenge........
Morning peeps, well I mananged to stay awake for a whole day yesterday, it was touch and go in the afternoon, so I went outside and cut a tree down, now I don't normally do that, in case your are all thinking mad woman on the loose. I was also thrilled to find out that not one but two of my cards have been featured on challenge blogs, the first was on Sunday at Fashionable Stamping and then again on Fashionista.
I was inspired by the sketch over at A Gem of a Challenge for todays card, must say its been ages since I've played there. I have used papers from First Edition Boho Chic, the flowers are from Prima, and the pearls are from Mei Flower and the sweet image is called Faye with Flowers available at Pink gem Designs this has been coloured with Prismas.

Ooh La la.......
Morning peeps , well that's the weekend gone and guess who slept through most of it, I went out in the garden whilst the sun was shining and fininshed off the weeding, had lunch, went to fininsh off a card afterwards, and then felt tired, lay down on my bed for a Nana nap and at 6:00pm my hubby woke me with a start for dinner and then I spent a couple of hours feeling really groggy and yuk and then went back to bed and slept all night.........question, am I turning into a dormouse?, cos at this rate I'm never going to get the decorating done.....lol, as I sleep all night and half the day.
At least I managed to get the card fininshed for this weeks challenge at Ooh la la.....which is Ribbon/Twine, you can use one or both, nice and easy for this weeks challenge.
For my card I used a very retro looking baby image and background paper from The Kiddiwinks Cd, this is a decoupage sheet, so the bottle and cup are layered up.I used the twine over the ribbon to hold this ceramic bottle button and added on a pearl and heart for additional embellishments.
Challenges
Rainbow Lady.....decoupage.
Oh well I'll try and stay awake and catch up on some housework today being as I'm off.....well fingers crossed I stay awake.
Hugs n' smiles or should that be hugs n' yawns.
