Sketch n Stash......

Morning fellow crafty friends, hope you have had a great weekend and didn't get too wet. We had torrential  rain here on Saturday, never seen it come down so fast and flood everywhere so quickly, I even had it come through the front of the shop under the wall whilst further up the road people were up to their knees for a short while.
This is the first of two posts today, back in the swing of things after my holls but on Thursday I am due to have my op to remove my gall bladder, just hope I feel well enough to do some crafting after a few days of recuperating.
This is a reminder that there is still 2 weeks to join us at Sketch n Stash and for this challenge we are letting you choose your favourite sketch, all we ask is that you post which one you have used.
We have two sponsors for this challenge

Prize $10

Prize £10

This is the sketch that I have used to make my card using a Parrot image By Barbara Jenson from Stitch Bears, click here to view the image.

I have coloured the image in with Prismas and then added glitter to part
of the image, the papers are from First Edition.

This is lovely Danielle. Love the image, and the embellies too. I had my gallbladder out a few weeks ago and picked up really quickly; I was sorer than I expected the first day (from the gas they inflate your abdomen with) but came home the next day with little pain - a LOT of bruising that I didn't expect too, but it wasn't too sore. I would say not to do too much as it is still abdominal surgery, and even though the wounds are tiny you have to remember you've had an organ out! My only other advice would be to add foods (particularly fatty ones) back into your diet over a few weeks as your digestion can be a bit disrupted - I'm eating everything again now, it only took about two weeks to come 100% Best of luck with it all, I'm sure you'll be crafting in no time :-) Donna xx
