Morning fellow crafty bloggers, I had a wonderful weekend at Daventry with
Ali Crafts, I went on the Saturday and Sunday ........... Lin Brown taught us a wonderful master board using stamping and stencilling which we then used to make a star album on the Saturday, post to follow tomorrow. But today I am sharing with you the melt art class that we did with Jennie Boxall from
The Artistic Stamper which made on the Sunday. As you can see we made a printers tray to show case the various techniques of using a melt pot that we did using the scrummy Botanical Tea papers from Graphic 45. I'm getting into stamping onto the background of papers now so that it alters the final look of them, all of the stamps I have used are available from Ali Craft or Jennie at The Artistic Stamper.
flowers are moulded and the butterfly
is a the transfer technique.
Chip board flowers painted, then triple embossed with
clear utee and then stamped into, I dusted perfect pearls
over the top so that it sat in the script.
moulded flowers and urn and highlighted with
gold
Agate technique using a butterfly cookie cutter
porcelain flower, the base of which has been stamped into
triple embossed utee powder.
finished piece, the frame was painted with dark brown and over stamped with a script stamp using Antique linen distress paint and then the edges I rubbed with Treasure gold using Florentine gold and rose quatrz.
