Paris.....

Evening crafty peeps ....another day of rain, will spring ever come, painting the fence panels are on hold again however I did get to play with my stamps. So todays card features a stamp from Crafty Individuals which I put a stambord domino on......I've been following the techniques over at The Craft Barn altering dominoes using various colouring materials and Krylon pens, sorry I don't have one of those so I improvised using metallic paint from Viva, they also have a challenge this week featuring using the techniques. The images were coloured with distress inks and the dominoe was triple embossed . The papers are from Craft works and DCWV and the flower is from Wild Orchid crafts. The edges of the papers were distressed with Mahogany as are the swirls.

Challenges include Sketchy colours whose colour theme is pink and beige. Hels over at The Sunday Stamper has the theme of Paris.....and being as we're going there this week it seemed appropriate. We're taking Ethan and his mum and dad to meet Buzz Lightyear and Mickey at Disneyland, just hope the weather improves for next weekend. The sketch that I followed is from Our Creative Corner who also want you to include distressing. The Stamp Mans challenge this week is to include swirls and curls as is the theme at Theme Thursday.Rainbow ladys challenge is Shabby Chic. Simon Says they want coffee and cream as well as having a Dt Call.

Thanks for taking a peek
your comments are inspirational ....many thanks

Compendium of Curiosities.....

Afternoon peeps just woke from having my afternoon nap with my Grandson......its an age thing lol. I started this tag the other night and wasn't sure what I was doing for it, so its one of those it kinda just developed tag....The technique this week at Compendium of Curiosities is Altered Metal using Alcohol inks, I saw Tim demoing using these inks on the new metal foil, for the intense colours he just scribbled the ink straight onto the metal foil. for the technique this week you'll have to consult the 'inky book of techniques' or I'll be in trouble with Linda, why not pop over and see some of the awesome work from other entries. Some other challenges this week are Simon Says Show and Stamp.....stripes, the background was made using a Kabuka mould from TSS.....just love the little buttons. The Shabby Tearoom challenge is Buttons and bow. Gingersnap Creations have a colour challenge using jewel colours with added gold......the gold is the dewdrops and the gold beads threaded through the top.The stamp for the corset is from B Line and the challenge at Moving Along the Times.....fashion

Compendium of Curiosities.....

Afternoon peeps, I've just managed to finish off my tag for this weeks challenge over at Lindas pad, click here to be transported to this weeks technique, which can be found on page 59, Inking and Stamping Masks. The car stamp is from Elusive images.....sorry Tim I haven't got your car stamp, the colour inks I used were Bundled Sage, Forest Moss, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo, I spritzed the tag over the masks with Cocoa Glimmer mist.....this has muted the colours of the inks for a more faded look, not intentional but I love using mists as you get a soft sheen. The clock has also been embossed in Tea Dye distress embossing powder, the cog stamp is from The Artisitic stamper and the image in the embellishment is from Crafty Individuals, I didn't think my cropodile would cut through the bottle top but t did....yay. I love making these tags for men so this one will be for my Brother-in-laws birthday card next month.

Mini Album.....

What a drab afternoon .......raining and grey, mind you I have had a snooze this afternoon with Ethan, lazy or what, its him he wears me out....lol. the papers I've used are from DCWW, they feature butterflies and botanical prints, some of the images are embossed and are all glittery and blingy, so this was a nice easy album to do, every page has a flap either under wings of the butterflies, or I've made pockets for pics to go in, there are also some journalling tags on the pages one of which I've added some charms to.The nice thing about doing this album is all the bling you can add, I've added little words as titles to each of the pages as well.........

pic showssides of pockets I've made to hold the photos

I thought I'd show you a couple of the photos that will be going in the album
they are of Ethan at about 6months, as soon as we entered the butterfly farm a butterfly landed on his face
straight across his eyes unfortunately we didn't get a photo of that.

W.O.Y.W.W.......................

It seems ages since I last joined in with Julia's woyww.......actually it's before christmas, so sorry but time flies and being as I managed to make a mess on my desk making my mini album I thought I'd celebrate and show you my desk today........as previous pics. have always been neat and tidy, allthough it still doesn't look that messy but I can assure you it is........lol. I've never made a mini album before so after buying 3 sheets of delish papers from DCWW featuring butterflies from my local craft shop I started Monday covering the pages, and then I was hooked I finally finished covering the pages last night, so I've just got to add the finishing touches and photos. I think I shall be doing a few more of these as they're great fun to do but fairly quick. Will post the finished pics. of the album tomorrow...................

Have a happy woyww

Valentine......

I started having a play around on Friday, but have been feeling abit under the weather for the past couple of days, so I  finally finished it today,I've used lots of elements as well as lots of gold perfect pearls.......love my bling. I used a victorian style valentine card as inspiration, so I distressed and spritzed a doiley and then made a collage for the centre panel using a script stamp for the background from The Artistic Stamper, I cut out part of an image featuring the Eiffel Tower from a stamp from Crafty Individuals, I used a bronze embossing powder from Wow on parts of it. The victorian vignette image I got last year from Holland.I added a layer of angel type hair paper......actually it some packaging around some flowers, so abit of recycling there to the base of the collage and then added red rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. The red sparkly hearts I made using red cosmic shimmer embossing powder, the heart stamp is from Debbie Moore. The lace was spritzed in gold as well and then I added the word love whick are letters from Dovecraft cystal gem letters....

Eline designs...

Evening  peeps, first things first thank you for your kind comments with regards my chicken pox ill Grandson, update is .....they don't seem to bother him that much and hes running around as near normal as he gets, although hes still in quaranteen, its all of us that are sitting here itching, guess we've all in sympathy with him.......lol.Today Ethan finished off his piece of art for his mum.....I think hes going to be pinching my stash real soon, he loves painting but insists on doing it all himself even if my Twinkling H2o's are now covered in glitter, he even picked and placed the gemstones for me to glue.....won't let him near that yet.....lol.

I did write the Mummy for him......

Now for today I thought I'd share with you the quickest card I've ever made.....ussually Kim from Cuddly Buddly will email me to make a card for a new release and a few days later it appears but I litterally recieved the email on Tuesday night and made it that same night, I must admit there was no colouring involved just printing and cutting but the designs by Eline are so darn cute I just gotta share it with you.
