Graphic 45 Album......

Can you believe it, I have had three days off work and it rains for all of them, on the plus side I have managed to finish and photograph the graphic 45 album that I started a couple of weeks ago using the Olde Curisosity Shoppe papers. I have made this album for photos of my son's years at University getting his two degrees, and being as he's into quirky/computer things I thought the papers were appropriate. There are so many inspirational projects at Graphic 45 and I have also been inspired by Clare at My Creative Spirit and Anne at Annes Paper Creations....well worth a peek.
Warning this is a photo heavy post, you might need a cuppa, but I so love making these albums and I get carried away adding lots of bits n bobs and glitter. This is actually a 4 page chipboard album that I painted black before adding the backing papers. Click on photos for a more detailed peek.

Close up of charms, love the skull bead.

First two pages
open up the flap on the right page

the little spotted square opens up into a mini book for journalling
The black photo matts are all decorated as well.

on the side is a concertina book

Next two pages

the bottle I stamped ono acetate, I added the image to the bottle
cap so that it can pulled out.

the left hand side reaveals the concertina folded book on reverse

Open up the folds of the book with the 19 on the front to reveal photo matt
and tags as well as additional tags peeking out from behind the book.
The 19 represents the age my son started his first degree.

Next two pages

open up the flaps of both pages

additional photo matt pages to go inbetween the other pages.

Just got to add the photos now
Have a great day

Love, love, LOVE it Daniele!!! Graphic 45 has the most gorgeous papers. I'm trying to work up the nerve to spend the money on the French Country collection. You did an amazing job on your album. It's jam packed with all kinds of goodies. :-) If you have a spare moment could you drop me a line and tell me what you used to make the photo corner slots on your tags. I asked one of the YTers but they never answered me. Have a great day!
