New Year card

Happy New Year to everyone and here is my card didn't put new year as a sentiment but my card is about your dreams for 2010, the image is from Lili of the valley painted with sakura pens....these stamps are sooo sweet.

I have entered this card into the following challenges who have the theme of a new years card Everybody art,Stamp with funThe theme at Cupcake craft challengeis a time for celebration. Just had to enter this card in the challenge at Charisma Cardz, they are celebrating their 1st Birthday today and they also have a blog hop on so........Happy 1st Birthday Charisma challenges and a happy new year to you all

Xmas Foliage

Went with a traditional red/green/gold christmas card as there are quite a few challenges with that theme and The challenge at My Time To Craft this week is Xmas Foliage, this card has been entered into the following challenges;http://www.create4fun-challenge  followed the sketch, http://papercutzchallenge/ .have the theme of a christmas card over at http://stampinfortheweekend.they/ have a colour theme Red/Green/Gold. http://simonsaysstampschallenge/ this week is to add a charm as does http://quixoticpaperie/. I coloured the tree charm and then added red and gold stickles for added detail.The theme at Stampavie is also christmas. Other challenge sites running similar themes are Everybody Art, Creative Card Crew and Pile It On

Chocolate card

Yum yum my kind of challenge at http://lotstodocallenges.blogspot.com/ the theme is favourite chocolate bar...now thats a daft question for a chocoholic but one of my favourites is Turkish Delight so hence the pink/chocolate colours. The ribbons are choccie coloured and crinkled for effect. The torn papers represent tearing into the bar and the sketch that I followed is from http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/and the theme over at http://quixoticpaperie.blogspot.com/ is tearing

Monochrome Magnolia

This weeks theme at Magnolia is 'Monochrome' =shades of one colour plus white. I decided to go with the black and white as I've never done this combo before. The sketch I followed was over at 'Create 4 Fun', this card was also entered into the following challenges:
Daring Card Makers-need to use punches, part of the flowers layers are punched as is the sentiment.

Halloween

Have to admit I have never done a Halloween card before so had to adapt stamped Tilda To fit the theme but there are so many challenges out there that are Spooky themed thought I'd better have a go. I followed the sketch from Create for Fun and the following challenge sites have the theme of Spooky or Halloween One Stop Challenge,Rosie Dee, Cupcake,Roses on Paper and Stamp with Fun. Just to let you know that Stamp with fun also have a DT call. Over at Everybody Art they are also having a spooky day

Create 4 Fun

Another great template to use again this week,as soon as I saw it I thought I'd start straight away instead of leaving it to the last min. I used a sugar nellie stamp as it matched the template perfectly I added a pleated bottom to the card  to match the dress in the image and added embellishments and lace to finish it off.

Create For Fun

Another card left to the last min. will I ever learn.......Oh well this was certainly a bit different. My minds eye papers and Whiff of Joy stamp. "One stop challenge" this week is Autumn, and "Stampin for the weekend" also have a colour challenge of orange, brown and green

ChristmasCard

Another card but with a difference I followed the sketch at StampARTic this is a fab site with lots of tips and techniques, I've embossed acetate with gold and then used the reverse side to get a gold/black effect for the embellishments.The theme at Stamp with Fun is to use acetate this week so I've entered it into that challenge as well. Love black and gold so I think I'll be doing this combo again.

Another Tilda Christmas Card

This weeks sketch over at 'Stamp with Fun' is a nice simple one but you can do alot with it,the challenge at 'Die cut Dreams' theme this week is ribbons and trims which ties in nicely with the sketch and finally at 'Simon Says' the colourway theme is red and green, I hope they let me off with the smidge of gold on the dress....I didn't have a round sentiment stamp so I made my own and turned it into a bauble, the striped background paper has been embossed with a snowflake design.

Autumn

Today I've had my grandson and I'm bushed, we went to playgroup and I was amazed that I even remembered the words to Wheels on the bus....for my card today I've used one of the Whiff of Joy stamps from the autumn collection, this one is my favourite. The challenge this week is a recipe 6 Brads,3 Papers and 2 Flowers, I've followed the sketch over at Papertake weekly.the papers I,ve used are MME lovely colours to work with. Over at My Time to Craft and Stamp with Fun the theme is Autumn and finally Creative Card Crew's challenge is to decorate the inside of the card...this is a first for me so I hope its ok.Off to work tomorrow for a rest ...lol.

Create 4 Fun Challenge

I loved the challenge of this card as I had never tackled a shaped card before you can tell I'm a newbie.....I tripled embossed the foil part and then rubbed it over with bronze to dull it down a little seems... to work ok used twinkling H2O's and cosmic shimmer for the colouring..... not the best of colouring due to trying to paint at night

Stamp with Fun Challenge

Part two in the trilogy of challenges thought this idea was also a great way of putting money in a card instead of a CD now I know that we are supposed to use a cute stamp for this challenge but the person who this card is going to is CUTE so I hope that I will be forgiven for my interpretation of the meaning of 'cute '

Create 4 Fun Challenge

Part three. I love the sketch that is on last weeks challenge i.e. saturday. I started to think about which design I was going to use and then I saw the challenge on Stamp with Fun that was for a CD card and the old grey matter started to work and then lo and behold Everybody Art challenge this week was a tag---- that was it I linked all three challenges together and decided on a bit of 'Rock N Roll'
