Sketch N Stash...........

OK who knicked those last two weeks, I thought there was still another week to go for the challenge, then I suddenly realised there wasn't and I had to get my skates on to make my DT card in time, this week the sketch is by our talented Jill.

I've used another of the new releases from Sylvia Zet called Dandelion Girl for my card this week......... another sweetie, the image is available from Cuddly Buddly,the corner dies and flourishes are from Marianne Designs, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The new stash that I used this week was the image and the old stash was the pearls and lace. I'm looking forward to visiting all your fabbie entries again this week.

New Year card

Happy New Year to everyone and here is my card didn't put new year as a sentiment but my card is about your dreams for 2010, the image is from Lili of the valley painted with sakura pens....these stamps are sooo sweet.

Chocolate card

Yum yum my kind of challenge at http://lotstodocallenges.blogspot.com/ the theme is favourite chocolate bar...now thats a daft question for a chocoholic but one of my favourites is Turkish Delight so hence the pink/chocolate colours. The ribbons are choccie coloured and crinkled for effect. The torn papers represent tearing into the bar and the sketch that I followed is from http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/and the theme over at http://quixoticpaperie.blogspot.com/ is tearing

Fairy Design

My second fairy card this time is in silver and blue, I followed the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, Colour Create have the theme of Blue, Silver and White also entered it again in Cupcake and Allsorts as well as Stamp Something Friday who have a recipe challenge this week of 2 papers, 1 ribbon and 3 embellishments (2 snowflakes and gem). Hope this meets the criteria.Papertake this week also have the theme of Sparkle......loving sparkle lol

Red White and Blue

This weeks challenge at 'Anyone for Anya' is a colour theme of the colours of the national flag hence red white and blue. I followed the sketch from 'Sketch and Stamp', over at 'Winter Wonderland' the theme is Jingle Bells so I added the little bell charm at the bottom and at 'One stop Craft' you have to include text or newspaper as an element so being as both backing papers are text backgrounds this meets the criteria for this challenge

Halloween

Have to admit I have never done a Halloween card before so had to adapt stamped Tilda To fit the theme but there are so many challenges out there that are Spooky themed thought I'd better have a go. I followed the sketch from Create for Fun and the following challenge sites have the theme of Spooky or Halloween One Stop Challenge,Rosie Dee, Cupcake,Roses on Paper and Stamp with Fun. Just to let you know that Stamp with fun also have a DT call. Over at Everybody Art they are also having a spooky day

Manga Birthday Card

This is my first time using one of these designs and I have to admit I like them although at first I thought they weren't for me, but you can get a little creative with them......although I would quite like my hair dyed these colours lol, I followed the sketch at Friday Sketchers will def. be using this again. and over at Stamp Something Friday the theme is Bling....... loving bling. This card is for a someone who is very much into Manga so I hope see likes it.

ChristmasCard

Another card but with a difference I followed the sketch at StampARTic this is a fab site with lots of tips and techniques, I've embossed acetate with gold and then used the reverse side to get a gold/black effect for the embellishments.The theme at Stamp with Fun is to use acetate this week so I've entered it into that challenge as well. Love black and gold so I think I'll be doing this combo again.

Another Tilda Christmas Card

This weeks sketch over at 'Stamp with Fun' is a nice simple one but you can do alot with it,the challenge at 'Die cut Dreams' theme this week is ribbons and trims which ties in nicely with the sketch and finally at 'Simon Says' the colourway theme is red and green, I hope they let me off with the smidge of gold on the dress....I didn't have a round sentiment stamp so I made my own and turned it into a bauble, the striped background paper has been embossed with a snowflake design.

Stamp Something

The theme this week is a favourite sketch,I fell in love with this one from the crafters companion challenge and although I didn't use it for their challenge I just had to have a go using the layout for the Stamp Something Challenge. I applied a liquid gloss to the candy cane but next time I,ll use glossy accents as the other that I used was to runny and harder to control where it ran so it wasn't my best effort better luck next time.Also entered card into Spoon full of Sugar challenge as its "Christmas" for the theme this week and also Creative card crew's challenge theme is "All that Sparkles"

Autumn

Today I've had my grandson and I'm bushed, we went to playgroup and I was amazed that I even remembered the words to Wheels on the bus....for my card today I've used one of the Whiff of Joy stamps from the autumn collection, this one is my favourite. The challenge this week is a recipe 6 Brads,3 Papers and 2 Flowers, I've followed the sketch over at Papertake weekly.the papers I,ve used are MME lovely colours to work with. Over at My Time to Craft and Stamp with Fun the theme is Autumn and finally Creative Card Crew's challenge is to decorate the inside of the card...this is a first for me so I hope its ok.Off to work tomorrow for a rest ...lol.

On this card I have included my favourite embellishment, I actually have two they are lace and flowers and I use them quite alot as you can see from a previous card below so this was a nice and easy challenge to enter

Stamp with Fun Challenge

Part two in the trilogy of challenges thought this idea was also a great way of putting money in a card instead of a CD now I know that we are supposed to use a cute stamp for this challenge but the person who this card is going to is CUTE so I hope that I will be forgiven for my interpretation of the meaning of 'cute '
