Vintage

morning.....its raining so  that means crafting time at least I managed to tame the garden after the holiday as it was looking more like a jungle after I got back from my holls on Sunday, the washing and ironing done so I can steal myself away for some me time with my crafting bits n pieces. As you may be aware Rachel started a new challenge blog after Crafters Companion started their own called Just Inspirational, this is the third week and the challenge today is ......Vintage.....anything goes, so here is my card, I was going through and pink and soft brown period when I made this a few weeks back, the DI's I've used are tea dye and victorian velvet....two of my fave combos, the image was a download and I used rock candy crackles over the top to give it a more older look, the doily has been distressed and glimmer misted......you know me everything has to be glimmered. The lace was distressed and ribbon threaded through it, ticket from Tim Holtz.....as if you didn't know that...lol, gold textured flower was from Cuddly Buddly.

Challenges

Stampavie.......anything goes.
Totally Papercrafts.....pearls and swirls (swirls are on the doily)
Colour Createwarm pinks, chocolate and white.
Charisma........Pink

My Time To Craft

Today is the start of another challenge at My time to Craft, this week the theme is called Damask Delights so you can interpret this any way you like. For my DT card I went for a more traditional interpretation and used just damask designs for the card, using a cuttlebug folder for the main image which I then embossed and a damask stamp for the backgroung image again I embossed this. Have fun interpreting it and I look forward to seeing all your fantastic entries.

Blue and Green

first time I've inked this one up but fancied a changed, stamp is from Lili of the Valley painted in Sakura pens papers are hopscotch by K&Ko, I followed the sketch from Moving along with the Times, altered it slightly as I put buttons in the corners of the image.......needed to tidy the corners up a little after punching the border for the frame, the colour challenge at Our Creative Corner is Blue and Green. Fancy edges or corners is the theme at One Stop Craft.

Winter Birthday Card

Todays card is a winter birthday card which I have to admit I struggled with a bit as I had to come up with a DT card as well as, my mojo I think has had a day off. The stamped image is a Penny Black, the snowflake on the background of the image is from Crafty Individuals which I stamped in Broken china and embossed using holographic powder , the papers are from Basic Grey....Eskimo Kisses and the background plaid is from Paper Cellar, flowers are from the new capsule collection from Papermania. I recycled a christmas card using the glitter snowflake on the flowers and the glitter strips which are on the ribbon.

StampARTic

The theme at StampARTic this week is to pick a favourite previous card to enter, I entered this one because of the colour scheme and the use of acetate for the embellishments....The  design was stamped in black on gold card cut up and mounted the acetate is stamped in black and embossed in gold and rather than using the embossed side up I turned them over so you get  a black line image with a gold outline doesn't show very well in the photo but looks good close up

At http://polkadoodle/. the challenge this week is to use 3 papers and a stamp. Over at http://stampwithfun/. the theme is Christmas as is the challenge at http://pollycraftchallenge/ this week . Weather is to be incorporated into any style of card for the challenge at http://www.craftycalendarchallenge/. so being as this is a snowy scene with falling snow flakes thought I'd enter this one as well......Heres a late entry for http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge/. they have the challenge of producing a christmas card using non traditional colours....

The torn papers represent tearing into the bar and the sketch that I followed is from http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/and the theme over at http://quixoticpaperie.blogspot.com/ is tearing

Another Tilda crimbo card.... the theme at Colour Create is Green,Red and White and the image for inspiration is a candy cane so hence Tilda carrying a candy cane and the choice in papers, I also added gold holly leaves on the left border to add additional interest, the ribbon is a red one laid on the top of a holly ribbon.
