You know when you get to the stage... do you add more or stop? well that's where I am at with this. It has been a trial and error project, the kit was from a class I couldn't attend due to illness but I didn't have any instructions with it, all I know was I should have used beeswax at some point but I couldn't get on with it so I kinda made it up as I was going along.
I have used image transfer for the lady in the metal frame which was first embossed in Verdigris and then stamped on top of the embossing and the image added behind, the background is a combination of acrylic paint, glimmer mist, and tissue image transfer with stamping over all of that and the metal railing has been coloured and misted as well. The flowers are metal cut out from a punch and then touched up with metalic paint. The lace on the top was coloured using mist and metallic paint and then stiffened before being added to the top of the frames. I have added a metallic border to the outside of each of the frames I think I'll have a go doing something to the backs of them now so that they are reversable.

What a day at work today it was sooo busy with all those shoppers coming in for their festive chocs, changing the subject where is all the snow??? we have had non except icy frosts each morning, the drive is so slippy that this morning after I had parked the car, I got out and the car decided to start to slip down the drive, my grandson was still in the back so here I am slipping down the drive trying to get back in the car to stop it slipping any further, the neighbours must have thought it quite funny.

StampARTic
The theme at StampARTic this week is to pick a favourite previous card to enter, I entered this one because of the colour scheme and the use of acetate for the embellishments....The design was stamped in black on gold card cut up and mounted the acetate is stamped in black and embossed in gold and rather than using the embossed side up I turned them over so you get a black line image with a gold outline doesn't show very well in the photo but looks good close up

Sepia Christmas Card
My first sepia card and definately not my last loved doing this, The design is a Sugar nellie and has been painted in Tea dye distress ink, after painting the design part of it has been layered up i.e bow, teddy and presents (doesn't show that well though) after I had finished painting I then spritzed the whole design in Glimmer mist to add the bling effect in the background the flowers were also spritzed
The card has been entered into the following challenges: Daring cardmakers who had the inspirational theme of sepia, Our Creative Corner has the theme of 12 days of Christmas.....Partridge in a pear tree, Cupcake have a christmas carol as an inspirational theme...not sure if the '12days of christmas' counts but heres hoping.Spoon full of sugar have the challenge of 'Monochrome', Papertake want christmas cards but NO red or green. The sketch for this design is over at Sketch Saturday

Christmas Tree
Finally got my christmas tree up, its a mamouth task....well it seems it to me I suppose it doesn't help when you have 3 trees to decorate, my son insists on having one in his room as well so it usually takes over a day to do them....the only consolation is I don't take them down, leave that to hubby and then I moan like mad the next year because I can't find the hooks for the baubles no doubt before the season is up I will have added more to it and tweeked.
