Wedding Card
The theme at One Stop Craft challenge is celebration........I followed the sketch at Cupcake Challenge and Die Cut Dreams have the theme of wedding so thats 3in1. The stamped design is a Sugar Nellie, the backing paper is from Debbie Moore, the embossed design of this paper is delish and is fab for celebration cards. The vellum is from the Laurence Llewelin collection and the border is punched using the heart Martha Stewart punch. The three metal roses are from a bead show. I used crystal sickles to highlight the dress detail.
White Christmas Card
The theme at colour create this week is All White......bit of a challenge this week as I don't possess alot of white stash ...but had a dig around, its surprising what you find especially all the stash you forgot you had, better not tell hubby as I won't have an excuse for more retail therapy.Anyway back to the challenge I used a stamp from Personel Impressions...really sweet church design me thinks (you are allowed to colour the image) its had glamour dust and Flower Soft snow effect added, the background was punched and the snowflakes embossed in Holographic, I embossed the background using cuttlebug snowflake and added white pearls and ribbon. Snowflake embellisments are from Papermania. The sketch was followed from Sketch Saturday and at Simon Says this weeks theme is All That Sparkles and this card has cetainly got alot of sparkle but doesn't photograph that well....Creative card Crew have the theme of Snowflakes Stamp with fun have the theme of a scene

Anyone for Anya
First time for this challenge the designs are really sweet, I'm into distressing tags now since going to the workshop last week. I've distressed the tag using a Tim Holtz mask of a swirl (love swirls) added diamond stickle swirls on the masked area for a bit of glitz then I distressed the backround paper to match, finalled added stickles to the brads for extra glitz and voila....

Princess for a day
We had a girlie day out today, that is my mum, daughter, sister and myself however we did let Ethan come along as he is our little prince. We went to the NIA in Birmingham to see Disney on Ice, ohh it was so sweet and all the little girls were dressed in their princess outfits, we decided we want a prince but not sure which shop sells them. Got home to find hubby in bed showing all the signs of swine flu, so it wasn't a great end to the day, just hope we don't all go down with it.
Distressed Magnolia
Thought I'd have a go at a bit of distressing for this card having played with distressing inks this week. The papers used are MME, the flowers were spritzed with cosmic shimmer Lava Red which gives it a lovely sheen to them.

The image has been coloured with cosmic shimmer and twinkling H20's paints. I put lace under the punched (doiley) strips to add more texture.Papers are MME. love them.
Sample tags
Here are a selection of the sample tags that I made at the workshop at The ArtistTrading Post, I loved making them and I'm brimming with ideas to make some more. I've included ones using masks from Tim Holtz loved this technique all of the tags have been made using Distress Inks.

Another card but with a difference I followed the sketch at StampARTic this is a fab site with lots of tips and techniques, I've embossed acetate with gold and then used the reverse side to get a gold/black effect for the embellishments. The theme at Stamp with Fun is to use acetate this week so I've entered it into that challenge as well. Love black and gold so I think I'll be doing this combo again.
