Compendium of Curiosities.....

Well I've had two days of classes at LB Crafts with the lovely Lin and Linda, doing a melt art and Beeswax class and a B Line stamp class, I'm pooped driving there and back for two days but it was soooooo worth it, I'm in love with beeswax now so hubby said he'd ask Santa to get me a Melt Pot for Christmas but only if I'm not on the naughty list......better start behaving. This weeks challenge at Compendium of Curiosities run by the ever so talented Linda (there's alot of crafting Lindas) .......is Industrial Grunge on page 54, so I went for technique rather than Industrial.......the image is from crafty Individuals.I added distress rock candy stickles for vintage bling.

Hello, darling Daniele! It sounds like you've had a BLAST these last couple of days, and what a fun way to start the winter season!

This is a gorgeous work of art, and really shows how versatile the Industrial Grunge technique is! The curtains looks fabulous, and the red tassels are AWESOME and so theatrical! The central image is absolutely beautiful, and looks even better with the Rock Candy sparkle. What a clever design!

I love this!

Absolutely fabulous piece - love the colors, the fringe, the image - everything! Glad to hear you're getting a new toy for Christmas - I've always been curious about beeswax techniques. But I can't help but wonder..... doesn't your hubby *want* you on the naughty list, LOL??!!! Have a great evening.:)
